For those of you not finding enough evidence for a murder charge: how do you explain his 3rd visit to oak road lasting 4.5 minutes?
Didnt he have a hand shandy though after this, on that road where the condom was found? For me, he has form going to the repeat areas for his kicks, sometimes even the same women. I think he just went for a wank - brutal as that is.
It was two hours later, he probably expected Libby long gone. It's the middle of the night so unlikely there would be police then even if she had reported him. If there were police he would have seen them on his approach and left - but honestly, I don't even think he considered that. He had got away with his other crimes for so long, he probably didn't feel much at risk.
That's interesting. So I gather you think he is not lying when he said he left Libby alive. Of course this was the first time (presumably) that he committed rape, so - unless you think it was consensual sex- would this not be a different and more aggressive crime not en par with his form of returning to the 'crime scene'?For me, he has form going to the repeat areas for his kicks, sometimes even the same women. I think he just went for a wank - brutal as that is.

Further to my above post, I think this is also why he was just strolling about Newland Ave afterwards without a care in the world. It is not busy at that time of night on a Wednesday (as you can see by the CCTV) and he would have stood out like a sore thumb if police were patrolling.
I don't think he thought in his mind he had done much wrong by raping Libby. It was just an opportunity he took advantage of. He was still on a sexual high from the thrill of it and went out looking for more 'action'. It adds to my belief that he didn't murder her as I feel he would have laid low if he had as it is a significant step up from his previous crimes.
Yes and he likes the area so much, he flew his drone over to have another look tooThe problem with grass/soil/forensics from the park on PR’s clothing or something of PR’s left in the park is that their presence cannot be attributed to entering the park with Libby on his second visit of the night.
How fortuitous for PR that his drive to commit a sexual offence that night had him visiting that location earlier.
Didn't he say something like "I didn't know if it was legal or not"?
I presume he was talking about the sex he had with Libby.
I can see how people think it is a big step up, but IMO not in the alleged circumstances.Sorry, I meant murder would be a big step up. Rape only a small step up.
I do think he left her alive but I do think 100% he raped her. In no way was she capable of consent.
Haha not really! Okay just saw you edited your post! But the legal aspect of it is not explained - if this were the case, he might have used the word 'right'?Yes, he did. I don't mean he didn't know that it possibly wasn't legal. More that doing it was of no consequence to him. Libby was of no consequence to him. Am I making sense?
Edit to try and explain myself - like when people fiddle their expenses they know it is probably illegal but they don't care because they don't think it's wrong or that big of a deal. It's a big company and they think it's small money so they will get away with it. Been doing it a couple of years so they continue because they think they won't get caught and even if they do, they still don't think they are in the wrong because the company has loads of money and they don't.
Not that I am comparing what happened to Libby to fiddling expenses (please don't think that!). Just trying to point out that people can know that things may not be legal but don't think they are important and their own need means they can easily justify it to themselves.

We don’t know much about the drone, he could have been numerous times with it. Did he buy the drone, was it a gift? Maybe he got it as a Christmas present- they were popular. You can’t fly them over houses without permission so go to the nearest open land. A bloke down the roadYes and he likes the area so much, he flew his drone over to have another look too![]()
I really hope he was questioned about it and no doubt changed his story five times. It's just too much of a coincidence for me.We don’t know much about the drone, he could have been numerous times with it. Did he buy the drone, was it a gift? From us had one and tried flying it over the village- well it was all over the Facebook community page and people were threatening to report him to the police for being a peeping Tom, quoting the law at him about where you can and can’t fly and how high and low you can be.
