Wow! Didn’t think of that one!
Now that is fantastic sleuthing!
You know what...this sounds right...I remember some details from a long ago thread that add up to this being a likely possibility!!

There is no doubt that different devices show things clearer than other devices. Using a laptop and hooking an HDMI cord up to a big screen HD TV can sometimes show things much clearer than on a phone.

I've watched it on my 65inch screen and it is clearer.

Still change my mind with what I see though each time ;)

Re abduction v kidnap, my understanding is that for a kidnap charge to stand, force or fraud need to be shown in the “taking away”.

The Law Commission have been consulting on making kidnap charges simpler to include instances where vulnerable (e.g learning disabled, ? whether other instances of reduced mental capacity {drunkenness?} means no fraud or force was necessarily used in the movement of the person.

To my knowledge, the above hasn’t been passed into law, therefore, LE would use the broader term of abduction to cover taking of a person.

In my opinion, the fact that police have changed to kidnap makes me think they’ve evidence to support fraud (?posing as a cab) or force being used.

I'm not sure either way whether it's a person in the passenger seat on the Spider CCTV footage.

Seeing the video of Libby laughing and giggling really got me.

Do the police monitor forums like this?

Do you think the police have a good idea of what has happened but don’t have the evidence to prove it?

Regarding the CCTV of the 4 people. Some have said the couple at the end could be PR / man in car and Libby. Does anyone know if the tracker dog has been taken to that point?

I feel so bad that nobody had come forward to identify themselves from that. No matter what you'd done you'd want to help with that surely

I bet they do in their spare time and laugh at how way off the mark we are.

I personally think they are pretty sure what happened.

I think they are desperately hoping they find Libby and soon.

Holy mackerel... if you’re watching this closely in a quiet house alone and scare easily make sure you’ve not got the sound up to full volume!! Just off to change my pants....;)

Oops. Sorry guys. I've not even watched it with sound myself so just imagining. Forgot it was part of a broadcast so never even considered the sound aspect. Maybe a warning should be added lol

I thought it might have been to do with this charge:

On January 19, 2019, in a public place namely Wellesley Avenue, you committed an act outraging public decency by behaving in an indecent manner by masturbating in a public place.

Or possibly something to do with the rapist who lives on the street

32 year-old man to appear in court today | Humberside Police
I have looked for the case you mention and can't find nothing. I wonder was he sentenced very odd

Previously unseen video of missing Libby Squire released month on from student's disappearance

"A CCTV camera filmed her on Beverley Road, at the junction with Haworth Street, on Friday, 1 February at 12.05am. There have been no further sightings or contact from Libby since this time."
(last paragraph of the article)

If she was seen on CCTV at the junction of Beverley Road and Haworth Street then does it follow that if she had continued along Beverly Road in either direction, or crossed Beverley Road and gone down Beresford Avenue, the same CCTV camera would have also seen that, and so the last sighting would not have been at the Haworth Street junction? Does it also follow that to leave the view of the CCTV camera she must have turned down Haworth Street? If so, and she was not sighted again leaving Haworth Street, then she is either still there or le, ft undetected by CCTV. All MOO of course, and I could be reading that article wrong.

Edited to add: of course LE could have further CCTV of her leaving and so know exactly how she left (and with whom).

Edited further to add: unless the "CCTV" was actually dashcam so only caught a shot as it passed by

I've forgotten the proper name for them but some CCTV cameras rotate / pan round to film different areas. It's possible the CCTV mentioned is not "fixed" on the bench.

Yes that's true. So if it panned away and she was gone when it panned back there would be no way to know which direction she went in. It's just the first time I'd seen in print that the last sighting was on CCTV and at the junction rather than the bench. Probably just the way it's worded.

That’s because it’s one of the charges against PR who isn’t due in court till 11/03/19
