Jool1975 and hitthenick let's answer your points.
This isn't the British judicial system. It isn't the police. 'It's a place to try and find something by discussing possibilities. It's not supposed to stand up in court.
Lets deal with hittthenicks water claim. and the liklihood of her being dead.
She went missing on a night with temperatures of about -5 in an outfit for going to a club. If nothing else had happened hypothermia was a real and significant risk to her!
She's been gone for over 4 weeks. No money or phone. No sightings. What is your liklihood she's alive?
Now the water claim. Several witnesses reported her to be highly intoxicated. Not able to walk far.
She was last seen on a bench on a street. According to police reports.
The nearest bodies of water would require Libby to have stumbled off that bench and walk to them. Avoiding every CCTV and dash cam and potential witness en route to have got herself to water in a much darker area.
So unless you have knowledge of a particularly hazardous puddle that claims many student lives on that bench it's likely she didn't get herself to water and suffer the fate suggested for drunk students.
If you do have evidence for her heading to water after the bench please share it. Or perhaps you haven't read the statement in conttext!
