Going to the toilet, taking a shower/ bath, getting dressed/ undressed, doing any number of private acts that you can do with your partner (or someone else's), interfering with yourself... the possibilities are ALMOST endless. Think of everything you do within your home every day that you wouldn't do on the front lawn o_O

:eek: need to keep my curtains shut

This would be hearsay evidence but can be adduced under multiple gateways so it’s likely it’ll be admitted. Very interesting observation

I feel like I'm sat in the front row, with rosy cheeks, silky pigtails tied up with pink gingham ribbon and an apple on the desk :)

Your responses are great!

The quote re "moving" is from the father's secondary account of his son's experience. I assumed "he" was a typo or misunderstanding, since the son's account only refers to "a woman's scream" and nothing else. Unhelpful, I agree!

@Audiohoney , do you have an MSM link regarding relatives being in Germany, or was that from social media and therefore out of bounds? As far as I could gather, there are eight siblings: Paulina Szymanska variously placed by MSM in Poland or Norway (28); Pawel (second eldest at 24) in Hull; four "younger brothers aged 11-18", in Warszewice with mother; a second sister who worked at Karro Foods - I haven't seen anything about her current whereabouts from MSM; plus an eighth sibling, gender/whereabouts unknown.

I don't think Paulina Szymanska (who gave that early damning interview to the Telegraph re Pawel giving a weeping girl a lift) is the same as Karro Foods sister. The wording of the Telegraph's interview with Paulina, seems to imply these are separate sisters?

"After qualifying as a chef, he followed one of his sisters to the UK where she was working for a meat company in Hull. Ms Szymanska said: "He never really had any male friends..."etc.
Libby Squire: Sister of butcher held over missing student reveals he comforted her on night she vanished - but insists he's innocent

(Incidentally, don't think I had clocked the bit about PR being a qualified chef before. Fits in with the cake baking, I guess!)

Oh I hadn’t clocked PR being a chef either!

Obviously family names have been printed in MSM ... whilst PRs Facebook account was swiftly disabled, his wife and his family are still connected on social media. So it doesn’t take much to join the dots and see who lives where from surnames and locations. Quite frightening how much can be accessed.

Paulina was in the UK but seemingly back in Poland. Another sister in Bergen, Norway ... but also previously in Hull. Then younger siblings in their home town Warszewice and one location states Germany.

Thanks for this.

So if he recorded his victims, that wouldn't necessarily be specifically mentioned in the charge of "voyeurism" in court today? Also, am I right in thinking that the new Voyeurism (Offences) Act 2019 does away with any loopholes re proving a sexual motive for recording? The recording is itself an offence?
So the V(O) Act 2019 amends the 2003 Act by inserting ‘other offences’ in which D can commit voyeurism. So the main ways are still those aforementioned, but creation of new other offences. Under the new offences created, would still need to prove purpose but the Act seems to open up (for these two specific offences created) the purposes so as to include sexual gratification and/OR the distress, alarm or humiliation of victim

Well, I’ve been at court again today. There were so many reporters there, regrettably, I didn’t take down the street names of the new alleged crimes, instead I spent all my time in there watching Pawel closely - I could kick myself!

I do remember clearly - outraging public decency - Masturbating on Newland Avenue.

Voyeurism - watching an unconsenting female in a private act on Chester Avenue.

Voyeurism - watching an unconsenting female in a private act on either Manvers Avenue or Manvers Street.

He was still without his glasses and had a new shorter hairstyle.

At times, he was chewing the inside of his lip.
He didn’t turn his head to look in the direction of the public gallery, but at times had a quick glance out of the corner of his eyes.

Two Humberside Police Officers were in attendance, one of them jotted down notes in a book, the other officer didn’t seem to take his eyes off Pawel.

It was mentioned in court, that the courtroom for the trial must have the facilities to show the CCTV footage evidence.

It was also mentioned, that there are a huge amount of witnesses, but Pawel’s Barrister told the Judge that they would likely be paired down before the trial.

Ten days were given for the trial as extra time was given due to Pawel needing a translator.
I notice lots in the heart of student land yet again. My child lived on Newlands Ave last year. That and nearly every street off it had student houses. Ideal if you want to stalk / watch young women.

Piper's on Newlands has a student night and those that lived closer by would walk home. Students get jobs on that street as well. Lots of coffee shops etc.

The night Libby disappeared he was conveniently near a possible bus stop for students attending Welly student night. And on a convenient short cut for campus.

His offences away from that studenty area seem to be at times when Students are away (26 Dec). Could that suggest he doesn't just wait for opportunities? He seeks them out?

His Ventnor street burglary days before Libby disappeared - could that indicate he had sufficient knowledge of the inhabitants of that house and knew they were young females and what he might find?

Lots of witnesses! And CCTV! When was he ever at home and what must his wife have thought.

Made me feel this was premeditated even more than before. Just my opinion though

Isn't one of the most interesting things the continual insistence that these are UNRELATED CHARGES?

In the grand scheme of things these are fairly petty charges and it seems the Police are pressing with as much force as they can. And don't forget, whatever you think of the offences, non of them involve anything bringing harm to another person. Normally this would make an inch of the inner pages of the local rag only.

He has been indelibly linked to Libby because a) he is documented as the last person to see her alive, and b) the Police arrested him on the suspicion of abduction of Libby Squire, which they publicly declared.

So, does the way they are behaving towards PR mean that they STILL suspect him of involvement in Libby's disappearance?

They haven't mentioned anyone else. I think when the first set of charges was brought they said he remained a person of interest.

I think the last person to see her is telling.

Do you think it could mean they are holding back other charges that they feel are related in some way?

Looking at the sheer amount of stuff they've taken away from his house and elsewhere, plus CCTV, l can't shake the feeling these charges are buying them lots of time to get everything in place regarding Libby? But that is just a feeling

In the Daily Mirror report they include the charge of receiving a stolen phone. Isn't that an odd offence to Chuck into the mix? If stuff had been recorded on that could that be counted in the voyeurism charges?

I see your point S. Id pedantically disagree on no harm being caused by the offences but no Physical harm I think is your point.

I think ,imho, LE not only believe but know PR is involved in LS Abduction/Kidnap/Disappearence.

Because of the close proximity of his activities to home, I think he was clocking fanciable women he passed in his daily life; noting where they live; then attempting to bag images of them for his private pleasure, possibly under cover of dogwalking or jogging. I'm amazed he wasn't outed earlier as a known creep given the geographic concentration of his offences.

I notice lots in the heart of student land yet again. My child lived on Newlands Ave last year. That and nearly every street off it had student houses. Ideal if you want to stalk / watch young women.

I suspect that at least some of the trespassing/burglaries weren't random, but rather people he'd come to know by sight and later targeted. It's the grabbing of electrical items and small amounts of cash that grab me as fortuitous opportunism.

As for 'observing' - being that it's a student area, back rooms downstairs are often used as bedrooms, and bathrooms are frequently downstairs to the rear of the house.

The 10 minutes is enough time to make the 24 hour garage and back to oak rd/croda cctv.......just. It was my early thought on where he could be going. That or maybe to buy/sell drugs. They are the only "innocent" explanations i can think of. There is very little open around that area at that time.

The thing, it's 10 minutes from that point. Where has he started from, though? The nearest it could be is the Beresford Avenue area - which immediately puts places on Beverley Road closer by.

A student house that I used to live in had the old living room on the ground floor converted to a bedroom, which had a massive bay window. The thought of it totally freaked me out, especially as it was on a relatively busy street. Unsurprisingly I said from the get-go that I didn't want it and chose one upstairs instead!

The stolen mobile is an odd charge for me. Given that its handling and not theft. I would imagine LE founf that during searches of his property but then i would assume the date of the charge would relate to when he was taken to custody/item was recovered. It relates to a date in Novemeber, im wondering how they would select that date given he isnt accused of actually stealing it (as far as we know at this point). I wondered if there was any material on there that helped them pin point a date.
