That’s one hell of an imagination!I've deleted my comment now. Should have read the whole of the thread before I commented but I was a bit

The stones on this guy!
My legal knowledge is very basic, so can someone explain the thinking behind a not guilty plea under the circumstances, please?
He was arrested on suspicion of abduction. Fingerprints and DNA samples will have been taken as a matter of procedure. Presumably this has immediately tied him to existing forensic evidence in the database and implicated him in several outstanding cases. His face is now out there, which has in turn prompted additional people to come forward.[/QUOTE
Defence wait to see level of evidence against him before he decides to
Plea - maybe he will to some which seem
Less weighty and likely to get lighter sentence. Plus they may want to put off the presentence reports - if he pleads it’s likely these will be ordered because of nature of offences. Maybe they don’t want any psychological report yet - plus other previous offences which he has been cautioned/charged for will come to light. Won’t put him in a good light re LS
I was thinking the same. But although the leap from perv to murderer might be a big one, the leap from perv to "accidental " murderer could be a small one. Especially if he was putting himself in high risk situations.
I thought before that his crimes so far were quite small time, but looking at them all together the guys like a one man perv machine!
Do we know what it was that brought PR to the Police attention? What led to his arrest for Libby's abduction?
Yes, exactly my thoughts on that part 100%.
BUT...
How does one man alone who has accidentally escalated to physical harm... make that new crime entirely disappear WITHOUT TRACE, after we have so much evidence of his previous crimes? The two sets of crime profiles DO NOT MATCH. PR as a petty burglar/creep/voyeur is not the same PR who has made a young woman disappear along with any physical evidence.
The Police don't even have a working theory. Their hypothesis for believing he abducted Libby could be based on nothing more than his admission that she was in his car, and that is the last known sighting of her.
It's not as if they have stated that he abducted her by car, has taken her way, is part of a trafficking operation? No. So far as we know, they have nothing.
They spent a week looking for a body in the pond and the river and the woods. Then they stopped looking for a body and started looking for clues/physical traces, as well as sporadic 'body searches'.
Why would they want to charge PR with abduction if they think her body is in the park/river? (I know they have to cross off all possibilities...).
The Police believe she was abducted, but that she was in the park at some point. I don' think the Police think she was abducted INTO the park, she was abducted AWAY from the park.

We don't know at this stage. Maybe he rang police the night it happened to say a girl had run off into the dark/park on her own. Maybe he rang when he realised he'd given a lift to the girl in the newspapers. Maybe his wife rang and said she had suspicions about his behaviour that night. Maybe he didn't ring at all and they tracked him down.Who knows!!
Vermont- the closest 24 hour garage i can think of to Bev rd area is Dunswell sewell? I have been through that in my mind. Can you think of anywhere closer? Is Tesco Hall rd 24 hours?
Theres one down Beverley Road between Lambert and Grafton Street
That garage totally escaped me for some reason.
Vermont - do you think its possible PR saw LS from the opposite side of Bev Rd?
I picture in my mind him spotting her when hes heading into Hull, then snaking round and back into Haworth st from Cott rd to make his grab.
It was.... just a little quip about how many locals are here![]()
I don't see a person with as many skeletons in the closet as PR calling the police.
