Its definitely not unreasonable to think he killed her ...but just not without reasonable doubt

I think if we compare how many stranger violent rapes occur without an ending of murder im not sure death would be the most common ending?

But how many violent rapes end without murder, in cases where the victim dies within a short timeframe, in suspicious circumstances?

Close to 0%?

Is there any cctv footage released of his activities later on. I want to know more about him standing facing the wall. Its very odd behaviour.

I think many of us will have walked across a snow-covered field at night and been taken by just how bright everything is.
You're right about light reflecting off the snow but on the downside, I've researched the witness' claim of a full moon and he's miles out. The last full moon was 10 days earlier and on 31st Jan the illumination (in a clear sky) was only 17.5% of a full moon, and there may have been clouds. (timeanddate.com is a good source).

I really think he must have moved the car so as not to draw anyone’s attention to the area. The more we hear the more I think the rape or atleast the first attempt to rape her happened in the car, she managed to get out and ran and he followed her. He caught up with her and perhaps muffled her screams by covering her nose and mouth causing her to suffocate. That’s when he decided to move the car and ran back to the area to put Libby in the water then back to his car to drive around lavishing in his perverted fantasies. I think the only reason Libby left the car in that area was to escape Pawel after he had forced himself on her. I can’t imagine her getting out of the car in that area in that weather for any other reason other than to escape danger or under force from PR

You've missed the part where he went home and surfed the internet and had a bath then went out again.

Thanks I had forgotten that, he was watching 🤬🤬🤬🤬 wasn’t he? Was this at home? I think he definitely went back to the area to check he hadn’t left any evidence, I can’t imagine he would leave after those 7 minutes and not return. I also forgot the ‘searching for the condom’ aswell. I think he was trying to be here, there and everywhere, making it hard for police to track his movements, on foot one minute and in the car the next.

If Libby had entered the water herself he concludes I hour before death would occur. There would be more evidence sof death by drowning IMO. Take it with yesterdays expert who said he could not conclude she didn't drown but that it was not his likely conclusion.

to be fair, he wasn’t able to conclude any cause of death though.

Have you read this ?

link Every twisted act committed by sexual predator Pawel Relowicz.

These will only be some of his crimes, not all will be reported, many will have not enough evidence to go to court. If you read the link, they were believed not to opportunistic and required planning.

This might not be his first rape, not all rapes are reported :(

My point about his previous crimes is that the jury have been told what he has been found guilty of, and when being asked to consider their verdict, are not supposed to speculate upon what he might be capable of, what might not have been reported, how his crimes could have escalated etc.

This is only based on hypothermia no other factors

When PR encountered Libby at the Endsleigh entrance, she was not far from home and heading in the right direction for her road. He was very local and very familiar with the local area, but he does not mention asking her where she lives until after she is in his car (doors locked?) yet he does suggest that he give her a lift home. In the car, he says that he asks if she knows where she lives and she says she will show him.
My point is, that if she could show him at all, it was so close that it might have been possible to begin with, if they had walked there, and he could have supported her to get there - but he neither asked her where she lived nor suggest that, because he wasn't going there anyway, he took her to his car instead.
But she was not in a state to show anyone how to get her home once in a car which then drove in almost a circle and did a few turns here and there before stopping at oak road, a much greater distance from her home.
PR, whose first language is not English and who has needed a translator throughout his dealings with the (sober) police, has been able to report every word she said to him, clearly and with confidence, yet other people who have not needed translators have reported that they could not understand much of what she was saying because her speech was so slurred and indistinct, and it even seems that Libby became frustrated with them for this reason. PR did not need to know what she was saying.
Also: from his own various reports of what happened in a very short journey in his car (5mins?) PR has reported that she tried to undo his trousers, scratched his face and took of her own knickers all whilst directing him to her home, he did not stop the car until he arrived at a very secluded and lonely place which he also knew very well.
That's why I don't think he was trying to help her.

exellent post... I had completely overlooked the very relevant point that all of the other people who tried to assist had struggled to understand Libby’s words...but PR, who does not have English as a first language was able to converse fluently and understand her every word.

Yes I totally agree which will likely seal his fate with the jury ...but does not alter the fact that because she was near a river with no coordination and changed perception and no definite cause of death its not the evidence leading the decision its circumstance

Yes they have been. I was surprised but I guess the judge deemed them relevant. Which IMOO they are. They give a fuller picture
I think because the evidence for those cases was found while investigating PR as a suspect for Libby being missing. Had Libby not gone missing his boot trophies would not have been found.

Maybe he thought it was a full moon because the snow made it so bright out. I live on a two acre property and when the ground is covered in snow it really lights up my yard, even inside my house when blinds are open.

Pawel Relowicz gives no comment interviews after denial statement
Pawel Relowicz was re-interviewed in August 2019 and the prosecution are now running through what was said.

Richard Woolfall QC is outlining police interviews with Relowicz on August 21, 2019.

The interview lasted for one hour and 21 minutes.

Mr Woolfall says a statement from Relowicz was read out by the solicitor during the interview.

It said: “I deny the allegations of murder and rape. I was not involved in the disappearance or death of Liberty Squire and have given a detailed account to the police of my movements on January 31 and February 1 and I have nothing further to add at this stage.”

Relowicz was asked questions but said: “No comment.”

Relowicz called burglary and voyeurism charges 'silly' when arrested
The prosecution are now going through the voyeurism, outraging public decency and burglary offences he committed.

He was arrested in respect of these offences on February 9, 2019.

A burglary took place on Edgecumbe Street and an offence of outraging public decency on Wellesley Avenue.

When cautioned for these offences, Relowicz said: “These are silly.”

He was arrested in respect of a burglary in Ventnor Street.

Later on February 10, he was charged with two offences of burglary, one of voyeurism and one of outraging public decency.

August 12, Relowicz pleaded guilty at Sheffield Crown Court to voyeurism in July 2018 on Edgecumbe Street.

I hope the smirk was wiped from his face when they informed him his semen had been found inside Libby.

Voyeurism victim statement read out
On August 12, 2019, Relowicz pleaded guilty at Sheffield Crown Court to voyeurism in July 2017 on Edgecumbe Street.

His victim’s statement said: “I used to live on Edgecumbe Street. My room was at the front of the house on the groundfloor and was shared accommodation with students.

“On Sunday, July 23, 2017 at around 1am I was in bed with my then-partner and was having sex with him. Because it was a warm summer’s evening we left the top window open a couple of inches. My curtains were closed.

“At this time I looked up because I had become aware that there appeared to be more light in the room. I looked at the bay window and first realised the curtains were more open - they had been completely closed. The gap was one foot wide.

“At this same point I realised someone was looking in. They were stood outside the bay window. I could see their hands and face were inside the window.

"My boyfriend realised something was wrong and turned and saw someone there. It was only at this point that the man left.

“When my housemate came home, she found a condom and said it was used and had semen inside it and a pair of black, lacy, women’s knickers. They looked used, as in worn.

“The condom was hung on the door handle of the front door. The knickers was on the letterbox.”
