Yes, it's not a complete write-off, but there's really no comparison with seeing the whole face. Not sure about greatly hampered, can't see the mouth area for a mask sure but, eyes say so much, sighing, fidgeting, looking bored, amused, looking away, becoming angry or upset will all still be seen.
According to google earth it is 286 metres from the carpark to the river. I hope I have uploaded the image correctly.
Do we know for sure he parked in the car park?
Most people can't scream while trying to survive drowning. She could have run off and ended up in the river hence the screams.
Why wouldn’t that be a possibility?
playing the devils advocate for debate
The prosecution stated 350 meters..which if you measure walking rather than as the crow flies fits

I've only read hes seen arriving in oak rd so not sure?
Thanks that's helpful. All those houses so close by...heartbreaking.The car park is locked at the end of the day, so parking would likely have been in this general area:

I suspect he portrayed himself as a good samaritan or there was some element of gaslighting coercion.Could PR have told Libby he was a cab driver?
I can’t link at the moment, but it’s in the DM if anyone wants to.
Apparently today there was only one juror who couldn’t get to the court. Efforts were made to get a car out to her to bring her in, but the car couldn’t get into the roads surrounding her house.
Just been having a look through the first few days of trial again. Having not followed a UK trial as closely as this one for a while, can I ask if it is the norm to read statements from loved ones out in front of the jury before any evidence has been produced or witnesses have been called? I've only ever seen such statements read out just prior to sentencing, or statements from the families outside court once a verdict has been reached.
Do you think maybe the rape took place elsewhere (in the car, endsleigh centre?) and he took her to oak rd to kill and dump the body only?354.9 metres from oak road to the river. Over 700 metres there and back - presuming this refers to the most direct route. Is there a pathway? 354.9 metres guiding, dragging, fighting, carrying...... in the dark, in the snow, if a footpath may have been icy too - I know they will spend more time analysing this time frame and it become clearer but it really is very puzzling.
Another thought: I don’t think we can take anything he says for truth, especially where the rape took place.
