I was told the drone footage has very recently been found as it wasn’t the time frame police told people to check for (4-4.30) so I’ve been told. As for the homeless they wasn’t sleeping in this area the drone was filmed, I personally know one of the homeless men and that’s not him on the footage.

That makes sense as alot cameras and devices are not set to the correct time when purchased etc and people just go ahead and use them. I didnt really think of that!

As for the homeless at least you can say it's not one of them on the video. I always thought if they couldn't find the mystery person leaving the coppice then maybe they never left the coppice, maybe they stayed and lived the coppice. It would make sense why they were never seen on cctv.

I know for a fact a tent was found and moved around that area but wasnt suspicious they said.

Hopefully justice today for everyone, my judgement is not guilty as there isnt enough evidence or a place of murder.

the trial poll currently showing 72% guilty (murder plus manslaughter) and 28% not guilty, so we have our own hung jury currently.

The jury will have had all night to get their thoughts together...if there is clearly a majority...not unanimous.. which imo there will be , how long will the Judge give them before allowing this

I always find it interesting comparing our WS polls/verdicts to what the actual verdict will be. If 72% of us on WS find him guilty (of either murder or manslaughter) but then the real jury find him not guilty on both counts, it just goes to show how differently a trial could go if they had different people on the jury. It's quite a scary thought really. But then again, us guys have followed this case for a long time and heard rumours and some of us have local knowledge etc so I suppose it's an unfair comparison. The jury members will have no previous knowledge of the case and have probably been privy to way more actual evidence and information than us on WS. Court reporting doesn't tell us 100% of what the jurors will have seen and heard.

Presumably the judge will direct them on this if they get to the 4pm update time without delivering a verdict.

Thanks Emma.
Until yesterday, I always thought the final cctv sighting was the bungalow - fortunately I have been updated now :D plus Roostercat did an on site reccy yesterday to double check distances and cctv - so it is now much clearer for me and I can see that the only route for LB would have been up Peel Park Ave.
I just wish she had been a few minutes earlier, or that ZB had been a few minutes later and that they had met and LB could have been warned off the Coppice that day.
I know... how different things may have been.. but if she was the intended target I doubt it would change the outcome.

I have a feeling now she may have possibly have been meeting someone she knew. I'm not buying the random attack story. MOO

[o to me, as I have said above I think physically he was able to do it.

Now, the mental side. That's the thing which has also been a doubt. Any person without a learning difficulty never mind with would struggle mentally to face death without coming clean. To get the materials, to wrap the body that good, to leave no materials at the crime scene and then to dispose of the body in the cemetery is remarkable. Dont forget nothing was found at the scene of the crime and until someones pet rummaged around and found poor LB she still had not been found.

I know someone with autism and unless I told him how to do it, he would remember what I told him but he would struggle to do what he had apparently done. He must of done his research. Even if he went back to his home and someone explained what to do I just dont think he could of faced it and disposed of the body how he has. Not forgetting again how he left no trace at the crime scene and inside the bin.

He also disposed of all of her personal items especially the coat which has never been found.

It does make me think did someone help him but nothing has come to light from witnesses or CCTV.

I really do think he planned what he was going to do when or if he murdered LB.[/QUOTE]

Thank you Accy, Your views are clear and I understand completely where you are coming from. I have no doubt he will be found guilty of disposing of the body but if I were on the jury I would have my doubts if he committed the murder. I know that there is no evidence of anyone else involved but I have a recollection of a saying "Abscence of evidence is not evidence of abscence". I struggle to think that he planned it and carried it out on his own. Today I have my Aspergers colleague with me. His Mother had told me that I need to give him 1 instruction at a time and then count to 6 so that he can process the infomation. Apparently she was taught that at an Autism Awareness course she attended. He is intelligent in ways, has A levels but he cannot cope with doing something for very long. He goes home after a few hours. I know nothing about this boys attention span and he possibly has different issues. Thank you again. It has been good to read your posts.
Where can I find the trial poll?

Could anyone direct me to where I could view the drone footage of the 2 men please?

There seems so many untied loose ends with this case, almost as if the police thought it was THAT simple they didn't think they needed any more evidence.

I think i will be surprised with a Guilty verdict, but we aren't privy to everything that was said and seen in the courtroom. For me I cant even be sure that ZB saw the defendant nor the Bobby's her coat which seems to be the only 2 links to put them close to each other.

Its tricky because logically its very likely to be him but I wouldnt say its anyway proven, my gut keeps going back to not him.

Ah, I actually set it up to be private for WS only - this has revealed it to anyone viewing the forum :(
