The latest confirmed sighting of Ezedi on CCTV is now on Vauxhall Bridge Road at around 11pm on the night of the attack, January 31.

The woman who was attacked in Clapham remains sedated in hospital and is still too ill to speak to police.

She had agreed to meet Ezedi on the night of the attack, and she and her children were in a car with him when they were injured, police said.

Hundreds of calls have been received from the public with possible sightings of the suspect, who was initially using his bank card to travel around on the Tube network.

His route appears to broadly follow the River Thames, and investigators say they are keeping an open mind about whether he has jumped or been pushed into the water.

Is it possible that the injuries are not real and that he has rubbed makeup or something on his eye?

Probably it is real.. but
Admittedly that was something i had considered as well, the injury looked like a piece of raw meat on his face, like a bad prosthetic, imo, speculation.

That strikes me as a strange thing to do, give yourself a a fake injury to actually make yourself memorable to jaded Londoners focussed on their music or podcasts while walking or on the tube. Without it, he's just another guy in the train or in the street. It's a gruesome injury, very attention getting. I don't think he's chosen it or fabricated it. I think it's genuine.

Maybe he was trying to pass off as a victim but quickly realised that he wasn't going to get away with it?

The Police must have tracked him much further than this,he has been travelling down main routes in central London. It looks as though he is making his way back to South London ,where he spent nearly 12 hours before the attack, time which the Police have appeared not to have mentioned or asked the public for any sightings.

If it was an attack on a former partner ,as awful as it was, would so many different agencies be involved in the search for him?

See - he’s just following the river. Which means he likely walked past New Scotland Yard on the Embankment. Glossed over that didn’t they!!

Commander Savell, or Captain Obvious?

Police also now saying that Ezedi's injuries "could be fatal" if not treated, which sounds like a pretty desperate strategy.

Much of what they're briefing out has the feel of backside-covering, in the event that they somehow don't manage to find him. The limited evidence to date looks much more like he was wandering the streets of London in a desperate and aimless way, and has probably now either killed himself or found somewhere to hide out.

The more elaborate stuff all feels quite implausible. This is a guy with a manual job and convictions for grotty low-to-mid level sex assaults, who has driven to London to commit a domestic assault using crude weaponry - seemingly with no attempt to disguise his identity and no immediate escape plan. Hardly screams criminal mastermind.

So...
Police said this was not "revenge attack".

Hmmm....
For me this is a typical revenge on a woman who dared to leave a weirdo

The "relationship" was broken, wasn't it?

They are just trying to hype it up as something more interesting than it really is. Like they did with Nicola Bulley.

I think they are trying to say it was not a revenge attack for the shooting dead of his sister, they do seem to be implying it was some sort of domestic attack against the woman who jilted him. So nothing to do with circumstances in Afghanistan.

Yes we’ve gone from ‘we’re going to catch him’ on day 1 to asking him to come forward because of his injury on day 7.

So he's following the river, but he crossed over to the south bank in order to avoid the Houses of Parliament, and the police presence there. He knows exactly what he's doing.

Cmder Savell added: 'He could have gone north, he could have gone east, south, west or he could have gone abroad.'

finger on the pulse for sure

I was not aware of such an incident in Afghanistan.

Did he pick up the little girl and slam her to the ground, just because he could do it a ("WWF wrestling move"!), or could it be that as a weird and creepy sex offender, there is more to it?..... complete speculation, imo,

''She watched as the suspect jumped from a white car and threw what she believed to be ‘a car seat or a bag’ to the ground.
‘The sound, the thud, the scream, that’s when I realised it was a little girl being slammed to the ground, like a WWF wrestling move,’ she said.''

I do not think it has been hyped up by the media, the press has ,in the main ,kept to information released by the police and it has not ,as far as I have noticed, captured the interest of social media.
