Here is what we know so far:- A crime scene is in place after a body was found in a North West London park this afternoon (Thursday, December 22)
- Police rushed to the park shortly before 1pm
- They found a man believed to be in his 40s in the Colindale park
- He was pronounced dead at the Montrose Park scene
- The death has been described as "unexpected" by police

A spokesperson for the Met Police said: "Police were called at 12:45hrs on Thursday, 22 December to reports of a man’s body in Montrose Park close to Charcot Road, NW9.
"Officers attended and recovered the body of a man, believed to be aged in his late 40s. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
"Officers are in the process of informing next of kin. The death is being treated as unexpected."
