And this one:

Police appeal for witnesses after girl, 14, raped in Goodmayes Park | Time 107.5 fm

"The victim started jogging near the basketball courts and as she ran around the park was grabbed by a male who forced her into bushes and attacked her. "
BINGO! So I discard the theory of Mommy issues serial killer. It seems he is a serial sex offender operating at night with a penchant for shrubs. Besides he spent nearly 30 minutes with MR in these bushes (from 11.17 to 11.43 when he was captured on cctv leaving the area), strangulation seems to be part of a violent sex attack, death of the victim maybe even not premeditated.

As most serial attackers are (sex). This could be the first kill and a major turning point for him. If that theory is true then he’s extremely dangerous.

I see sth completely different. I see him holding her in a death grip and poking sth at her side. She is stumbling in absolute terror. I also noticed in one of the cctv pics that she was leaving the hospital wearing flip-flops on bare feet. How strange! Ladies - always use taxis at night!!!!
I see it more the way you do: he came up on her, a hard grip on her arm, and threatening her with a weapon or as you say poking her. I bet he was verbally threatening, too. A stranger. He may not know he killed her. This is a desperation mugging or robbery? He is a very dangerous person.

Does he look like a foreigner to anyone, or a typical modern young English man? Does he look homeless or sleeping rough? I see he is mostly clean shaven and has had haircuts, and he doesn't look truly dirty or with grass or weeds on him. No doubt the bus driver has given an interview to police and added perspective like if he smelled badly or had an accent.

Going back to the bus cctv, though, he doesn't seem to me to be excited or agitated enough for this to be right after killing for the first time.

Maybe he didn't even notice she was dead but thought she lost consciousness. But... I wonder about the state of her clothes. Police didn't think at first it was an attack. Hmm... In the bus he seemed tense and preocupied, he was scowling.

Oh, is this footage from before or after the murder?

He doesn’t strike me as ‘British’ looking but of course that’s just my opinion . But it was my first thought seeing his face

so that indicates no sex attack if at least afterwards he adjusted clothing back afterwards. I’m baffled. Part of his game plan maybe. This poor lady.

After. This is his journey home. Assuming this POI is the perp of course, which afaik hasn't formally been confirmed.

Psychopaths rarely are, in the way we might expect anyway.

Also it could be that dissociation is the way he handles any type of overwhelming feeling. It’s what you see in sociopaths for sure.

I do wanna point out that the sex offender has blond hair, while the guy on the bus has black/dark hair (and so are his eyebrows I think, I'm on my phone so I can't check). Did he dye his hair? Tbh, he looks as if black/dark hair is his hair colour (you can see it in the vid in one of the thread posts).

Great theory, though. Do tell me what you think about my opinion (no hate towards you, though ;-) ).

I wonder when sb who knows him informs the Police - he has a distinctive parting in his hair, which is unusual and easily can identify him. Besides those who know him must have noticed that sth is amiss in his behaviour. I even suspect that Police already knows his name.

Oh my bad haha I only read the title of this link and know nothing about blond hair. TOO bad... So back to looking for other clues Sigh. And, of course the man in the bus might be absolutely innocent - we know nothing, just speculate. He might be a witness holding important info as Police said.

CCTV of man police would like to identify

Found a link to it posted by the Met police too. Interestingly when he gets on the bus he appears to converse with the driver whilst acting like he’s getting his oyster from his pocket but the video cuts to another shot before showing whether or not he actually used an oyster or contactless card or whether he was asking the driver to let him on without. Of course if he did use an oyster or contactless it would be a lot easier to trace him so I’m led to believe he went down the “I’ve forgot my card” route to the driver
Bus machines can pretty much trace any purchased tickets if they are not cash payments as they have a system for refunds etc. Do we know what bus company was used by the suspect.
Or perhaps even a little younger imo. The kind of look people often call 'babyfaced'.
Babyfaced reminds me of the attack in Bensham Park, Gateshead in 2017 where the perpetrator who was sentenced had a baby looking face. Here is the article. Baby-faced brute beat and raped teenager in shocking park attack

We don’t have bus machines in London to purchase tickets, it’s oyster or debit card or a paper travel card which could of been purchased with cash from a train station but would be pretty hard to trace back as he would of only had to flash it at the driver. (And unless this attack was very pre planned it’s highly unlikely the paper travel card would be the case as they’re not used much at all other than maybe people who travel from zones 3 outwards and into the city for work.
The system you use to tap your oyster/card would all report back to TfL instead of individual bus companies

Oyster card - nice name:) "The world is your oyster" comes to mind haha Is it the name of city travel company?
