Hi!
I did wonder if she tried swimming for a while, so possibly further downstream (hence missed by LE divers at scene) and when PF started searching, what a full 9 days later (?) her potentially being further downstream due to floating. Another posted suggested that the window for floating is wide. Got this from a web search 'As a former search and rescue diver, and someone who has done more river searches than I care to think about, I think I can answer this. For a body to float its about three days… maybe five if its winter..'.
Perhaps this is why the search has moved to the sea area.

Nicola Bulley's partner says his family are going through 'hell'
Nicola Bulley's partner Paul Ansell today declared 'something happened that day' as the search for the missing mother-of-two hits the two-week mark.
Hi yourself, I found more from the expert brought in who states there would have been around 2 feet of water and had she slipped, some stories state there were slippery sides, that she simply had to stand up. He previously stated he had proof the water was slow moving on the day. I can't think of any reason why she swam or floated. Apparently all was well in her life also, she was happy.
I had wondered if she had maybe gone in the water to rescue her dog, sometimes people get into difficulty when doing that. But the dog was bone dry. The water apparently not deep or fast moving and there's a video of a floating log staying put.
However they have also searched quite far from the bench where the dog and bench were.
It seems to me from all that is said to very odd.
Just because there is no sign of a struggle it doesn't mean she didn't leave with someone for whatever reason.
Was the ground around there dry or wet and muddy if anyone knows?
The harness you would think would be on the dog or the bench, but the dog may have moved it to the ground from the bench. Was the dog allowed to run free or somehow got out of the harness. I am curious about what happened with the dog. It's stated that this was somewhere they went daily so there would be a routine with the dog and whether they were allowed to run free.
It's also mentioned the dog was distressed and agitated, is this normal for their dog? Was this exaggerated for the story? Maybe they were just distressed at being left alone.
I find the police determination that this is just a missing person quite restrictive, after this length of time and with equally no evidence of her falling in the water as to any crime taking place, does not appear as being open minded.
This story mentions a scruffy red van being reported by various people as parked in the area, preceding Nicola's disappearance too.
