There is not much concrete location data they can get from the phone network.
Remember they have her phone - all the other ones in and around the village they don't
They will know which mast the phones were connected to - probably all the same one in a rural area and that data will only give the direction the phone was located in.
About 10 years ago there was a local to me court case involving phone location and the only thing that coudl be said by the specilaist in court was that the phone in question was in my village and therefore most likely so too was the suspect but they could not say where in the village and nor could they say whether the phone and hence also the suspect moved from say house A to house B on the other side of the village and back again or stayed in house A.
Obviously if some of the phones have their location services recording turned on (Android is off by default) then they are in with a better chance if they can get google to reveal the details - same possibly for Apple.
They may well have procured a geofence warrant which will show every phone that was in that vicinity at that time.
This is speculation, there is no MSM or police report to support this theory.

Are you watching the Channel 5 program? Who left the bunch of flowers on the Bench? Is that not a little odd in a "Missing Person"?
If it was an anniversary maybe, but while they are still looking and there is still a chance she went off of her own volition? I find that odd?
I get it, but does anybody actually think she’s still alive at this point?

I just think it’s too soon. JMO.
I agree. Too soon and no need. It’s not as if it’s needed for awareness. The police have had to put policies in place to stop people from visiting the area because there’s TOO much awareness.

Please bear in mind that this is The Sun and await confirmation..

I have just heard it
I can't watch it ( no TV) unless I can watch the show online.

Have just read the statements via The Sun's article instead and a few clips.
Is it clear whether he got the call - from the school - before he left to check of his own volition or was he already en route to see why she was late ?

He said he was about to leave to find her when he got the call that they found willow, phone but no NB.

He had also tried to call her prior to leaving to find her.

Not strange when the social media bashers have not given police or family a chance! It has been horrendous and if nothing else I hope that some laws will come into place to stop the abuse and allegations that have been allowed.
I do agree with respect to social media but this is just going to give those ‘bashers’ more ammunition. JMO.

It's because this case has become so huge. They are taking advantage of that. They know it will get people watching.
In all fairness it’s the first time I’ve watched Channel 5 in years.

I don't have access either. Maybe somebody will post link to entire programme if it goes to Tube?

Confused about the timing of this particular point too - even more so after his interview tonight - but reading between the lines I think he was en route.

There are a lot of inconsistencies in this interview.
I don’t think it was a good decision to do it. Channel 5 must be rubbing their hands together, best ratings they’ve had in a long time.
what do you mean by inconsistencies ( I can't view it, unless it airs later or maybe I'll have to sign up online for Channel 5)

I think that's when she was driving home, she just forgot to turn her Strava off. I always use to do that. She's not actually walking past the barn in Hall Lane
ok I don't know where NB lives, thought she is from St Michaels Wyre village and why would she drive on Hall lane?

Getting ready to go and search and had changed into gym gear when received a call from school

She was muted and had her camera off but if they were on a con call presumably there were people speaking. I'm not saying they knew it was a teams call but they may have heard someone speaking.
If there is a potential perp they could have started up a friendly chat and she may have said she was on a conference call but just listening in.

From watching it myself it Sounds like he was suspicious as to why she was so late (about 10:30 at this time) ; he was due to go to they gym at lunch anyway so he got his gym clothes on and was about to leave to look for her when he then received a call from school saying that Willow had been found and the harness and phone but not NB.
Just typing as watching so worth going over again to check facts.

thank you! but here's another query for you or anybody else who watched

part of transcript from the Sun, but this bit I have bolded is unclear too
'
Walker asked the heartbroken partner " When did it feel, where’s Nikki? At what point did that kick in?"
Paul replied: "I just went in the house, put the kettle on, made a cup of tea, went into the living room, and thought I’ve got on an hour now to sort of chill and get myself ready for the day.
"Which is what I did. So she's usually back, like, quarter to 10, average 10 o'clock. At a push. So I’d gone up into the office at 10.
"Thinking that she’d be back in a minute, I was just going through some emails and stuff, setting my day up.

"It got to say quarter past 10, and that’s when I thought she was later than usual, but I still wasn't particularly worried because she has come back at quarter past 20 sometimes.
"And again, there was no answer. I tried the mobile again and no answer.
"Now I sort of started to get a bit bit panicky I think. So that's when I thought I'm gonna have to go down there and see if she’s alright.
"See if I can see the car or you know, see what's going on. But I still expected that I’d just get there and you know there she is.
"I just thought basically I'm gonna go out, find her, come home do a bit of work."

ETA - that bold part must just be a typo for quarter past ten.

I don't find that odd at all. People are generally kind and well meaning. Somebody left some flowers for Nicola - nothing odd in that at all

Very strange. Feels a bit American? I remember this was done with the McStay family case...of course the killer (friend and business partner) was on there claiming the guy who he killed along with his whole family was his best friend and he was devastated and all this garbage. That was insane.
