#MISSING | Have you seen Nicola Bulley, who has gone missing from home in Inskip?

Nicola, 45, was last seen at around 9.15am today (Friday, January 27th) on the footpath by the river off Garstang Road in St Michael’s on Wyre.

She is described as white, 5ft 3ins tall, with light brown shoulder-length hair. She speaks with an Essex accent.

She was last seen wearing a long black gilet jacket with a hood, black jeans and olive green ankle wellies. Her hair was tied into a ponytail.

Immediately prior to going missing she was walking her dog, described as a brown-coloured Spaniel. Although the dog has since been found close to where we believe Nicola was last seen, we hope this might help jog the memory of anybody who saw her at around the same time and who may have information about where she was going.

Please continue discussion here.

All members are expected to familiarize themselves with Websleuths rules found here, and also linked in my signature.

We aren't going to reinvent the wheel by repeat posting of all the rules, reminders, the Dos and Don'ts.

Additionally, links to and discussion of fundraising is not allowed unless it is a fundraiser run by close friends or family AND even then, the only thing allowed is a possible snippet of a previously unknown fact regarding the specifics of the case itself (i.e. wearing black sneakers, or ??). The actual $ figures and how it is progressing or not are off limits.

Blay Brook has an underground portion I’ve circled in blue on the google earth photo.
Does anyone have a map of other underground large pipes or overflows?

Thinking that a body could sadly end up in accidentally or otherwise

The presser, that's a bizarre move? Stepping it up in seniority, is that to say they are withdrawing from the investigation (and want to put a senior colleague up to give it more authority and justification?) OR an escalation/development. Perhaps moving to investigate as a different type of situation I.e. abduction?

Completely my own new-to-this opinion!!

Just reflects the National status and complexity of this now I think.

To be in that pipe, a body would have to be put there. It wouldn't travel up a drain against the flow. And it would create a blockage or be flushed out. IMO

Hopefully this is not an indication they are succumbing to media pressure.
I think Supt Riley is brilliant.

Just saw this mentioned don't know if its, already, been posted
I was just gonna mention this, @todders had posted about it previously.

In the still cctv photos she wasn’t wearing gloves, that’s not to say she didn’t have them on her in a pocket. I’m sure PA will know whether they are NB’s or not. JMO.

I know self harm is not a pretty topic. And it's the LAST thing people ever want to consider. Having something happen "to" a person is almost easier to comprehend.

And to be clear.... I'm not saying this is the case here!!! Its just thoughts about the possibility, like every other option out there.

Presumably the police would have been able to find out really quickly if this was or wasn't NB's glove. The fact that nothing had been said about it until now *probably* means it wasn't.

Yes think we would all love a real clue but the number of lost gloves/hats etc I’ve seen on walks over the years doesn’t really give me much hope!

A 49-year-old man from Manchester and a 20-year-old woman from Oldham have been arrested on suspicion of malicious communications offences.

If you go onto Google Earth Pro on a computer you can look at historical imagery. If you look at the photo of Blay Brook from 04/23/2020 you can see some sort of stone/earth works/construction in the same area you circled. In more recent photos it's obscured by vegetation.

IDK but he gave the first public statements.
Could it also be here's there to give extra support to the SIO Smith?
