This, from Moment a 16-year-old killer drags a woman's body in a wheelie bin:

"After two days of questioning, Price came up with a prepared statement via his lawyer to explain his movements between the Coppice – where police believe Lindsay was murdered – and the cemetery where her body was recovered.

It began: 'Rocky Marciano Price, can say that I am not involved in Lindsay Birbeck's murder.

'However, I was approached by a white male, who speaks English, who offered me a large sum of money to move the body.'

Price stood trial in January 2020, pleading not guilty to murder. "

Is it possible a murderer got someone else to do things for him in this earlier case, and now has either done it all himself or has done the same? Again, an awful thought - but involving other people is one way to avoid discovery.

He was convicted by a unanimous jury. I fully believe Lindsay’s killer is in prison.

Mr.Faulding found my daughters friend in a Kent tidal river a few years ago. His knowledge is amazing & so is their equipment. I have every faith in him & his team. If they don't locate her. The river can be ruled out for sure.
Oh, that's awful, I'm so sorry. Pardon my questions but did your friend's daughter accidentally fall in? Was it the River Medway?

Why are SGI only searching from the weir to the sea. That at least 300 metre further downstream than by the bench.

I'm not so sure it could be entirely ruled out I'm afraid.

Not too sure why there’s so much negativity around PF at all, the family have asked him, it can only help, he does this for the police all the time , he’s doing it for free. More resources can only be a good thing.

Who cares if he has the biggest ego ever , or has written a book, it’s about getting answers . If he hadn’t gone he’d have been criticised, he’s now gone and he’s being criticised. I don’t think it’s what’s important at all. Who cares if he likes media attention? It’s helping scour the river, which is important, finding what happened to Nicola. We don’t know what he now knows from the police , in terms of his opinions changing. I’m just surprised how much of thread is now analysing someone trying to help. For free.
I think its the feeling he is perhaps trying to monopolize on a families' tragedy thats a little distasteful...but yeh ultimately I suppose let it be if he gets the job done

typo obviously.
Which might not be obvious if you’re new to the case, and then don’t scroll down to the timeline included. It’s not hard to proof read before putting information out there

Yeah like if my relative had a brain tumour and a neurosurgeon who could help was going on and on in the media and giving interviews on how awesome he and his equipment were - I’d still be grateful for help equally I’d wonder why the need for such publicity.

But agreed, let’s find Nicola for her family x

Thanks. I believe (says confidently) at 13ft per minute it would take 3.6 days (88 hours) to cover 13 miles.

This is of course free flowing at that speed, without interruption.
Gosh, that is tough to hear, however we have had experts in who would have known the stats on the day and those following ... (edited for typos)

He had an IQ of 65. I'm not sure he was capable of eating dinner, let alone planning to kill someone and single-handedly dispose of the body. Of course he is seen with the wheelie bin in that horrendous footage, but if you were to believe what he says in his statement he was employed by someone who had already killed her. If so, a murderer could still be out there, even if he was involved too (which I don't dispute).

There must be a good reason for starting there, but you’d hope they do a search of that stretch too, despite what evidence or info they might have. My gut would say, it’s a few hundred meters. Let’s check again and just beyond, just to be sure.

Done a week's ironing whilst the waffle goes on and on. If I need to contribute I will via the message option, generally that was a team update call and they are particularly tiresome as there is always the 'all about me' who prolongs the call
So true!

I am frustrated that it is still not clear if the phone was found near the bench or on the bench. It‘s only a small detail but it’s fundamentally important.

The latest police update says “at” which is not specific. Her friend said on the ground.

We need to know whether the phone was on the bench (she’s sitting listening to Teams) - or on the ground - in which case what has made her drop her phone as well as the halter and lead?

I can see her dropping the halter/lead fussing over the dog, but if she was doing that she would leave her phone on the bench or put it in her pocket.

And if she’s fussing over the dog around where the lead and the halter were found - she’s not in the river.

It sounds like a few hundred metres and beyond with their equpitment would only take an hour or so, that's no time expeically given that PF believes if NB is in river, she won't have moved that far

I never willingly turn on camera or microphone on teams.
She was on a Teams meeting, but had switched off the camera and sound, is that correct? Is that normal practice for her to do that?
Why would she do that?

It’s here I think - the path she entered on. IMO.
Shows Garstang road on Apple Maps and Blackpool lane on google maps.
It looks like Blackpool Lane ends at Rawcliffe Road and then becomes Garstang Road. Although Google maps confusingly still states Blackpool Lane but on Street View you can see the road sign opposite as Garstang Road.

Edited to say - however, the church address is Blackpool Road, not Lane, and the Grapes Pub address is Garstang Road, which is before the junction I mentioned above!

They didn't start searching with divers until day 3 or 4.
People in wetsuits wading in pulling a dinghy isn't quite the same if a body is underwater.
How do you know that? Please do not criticise the Police without factual evidence. I absolutely applaud them for what they are doing - they are putting their own lives at risk. This is an incredibly perplexing situation as there is not firm forensic evidence either way. However, everyone is exploring all avenues and we all want the best outcome. Unless you know otherwise please do not criticise those on the ground trying to find Nicola.

It was ON the bench as clarified in presser questions here

Reporter - How was the phone known to be on the bench at 9:20 exactly?

Superintendent - Through telephony enquiries that we've done, relative to the phone itself, rather than through a witness.
