It’s in the transcription of yesterdays presser, 5th bullet point down after second paragraph:

UK - UK - Nicola Bulley Last Seen Walking Dog Near River - St Michaels on Wyre (Lancashire) #7
Gotcha thanks!
  • We've now identified around 700 vehicles that drove through the village on that morning on the 27th. January at around 9:10-9:15 and we're in the process of speaking to all of those drivers to try and find out if they have any dashcam footage, what they saw on that day or anything else that may be of value to the police enquiry.
Looks more like they are seeking someone entering at that time rather than leaving, doesn't it?
That would suggest they already know exactly who was in the park before that time?

The 9.10 sighting is a given.
The 9.20 laying down of phone on bench is pretty certain too..

What do you make of it?
Somebody that entered before she actually reached the bench?
In time to meet her at the bench?

I'm a football supporter and went to watch Sheffield Wednesday play at Fleetwood Town last night.

Nicol's disappearance was highlighted on the video scoreboard. Good to see the publicity, though it was clear from discussions I heard amongst my fellow Wednesday fans that this case is already well-known across the country.
Think you would have to be living on the moon to have not. Could have understood it when there were only 3 tv channels and a handful of papers but not in this day age of consecutively.

Yea she did but why are the police only asking for dashcam footage between 9.10-9.15am (see transcript of recent presser). Why not a wider window? JMO.
The thing is whilst the more info the better in many ways, it is also very very resource heavy to go through and review footage. They will have their reasons for asking for this particular time frame, they also know their capabilites and constraints. JMO but I'd say they probably have the rest covered or view this time for reasons we aren't privy to as crucial.

Does anyone have a photo of the area that meets the sea from the river?
The estuary opens into the sea between Fleetwood and Knott End. However the estuary is very wide and open several miles before that. It widens a few miles upstream of Shard Bridge, which links Hambleton and Singleton.

Edited to add - sorry no photos but giving locations because they might help with a google search.

Yes exactly - are they seeing if a potential perp entered between 9.10-9.15am? It still would be an incredibly tight timeline for foul play though. IMO.

Some of the posts this morning re mental health are I the sort of harmful (baseless) speculation that the police have been warning against IMO.

IMO It could also be an accomplice?

It would okay but that's all that makes sense, isn't it?
It would be possible to get to the bench at a run.. but then there's the additional 9 minutes before the meeting ended..
could be done easily. She's sitting at the bench listening to her meeting, perp just walks into her space..happened between 9.20 and 9.29?
You reckon?

I'm sure that's what they're ruling out. (I think ruling out moreso than ruling in.)

What's the visibility en route to the bench? possible to see place was practically deserted?
Safe to attack?

Yes but very tight and also you have to factor in the other witnesses who came through the gate and found the phone and willow - I guess it depends what entry route there’s was? If via allotment lane they maybe wouldn’t have seen any perp leave (may have just missed each other) but if they also got to the gate via the towpath surely they would have passed any exiting perp on the way in. Plus where would NB be in the meantime? I’m getting a headache thinking about this.

Yes I suspect it is a case of ruling out any potential perp as opposed to ruling them in because the timeline is so tight. IMO.

I agree that the most likely explanation for the dashcam request is to rule out anyone else entering during that very tight window. The only other possibility I can think of, which I think is less likely, is that something has shown up in some other footage that might look like an object in the water at about that time. The footage they are collecting would cover the bridge. I don't think most dashcams would have a view of the river because they tend to look straight ahead, but a motorcyclist or cyclist might with a helmet cam maybe?

Perhaps they want to see which passersby were on the street at the time?

It now seems odd to me she was sending texts arranging play dates, spa days etc the moment she "vanished" , almost like she was trying to convince the world she was sure to be here for it. Also the repetitive nature of her FB posts of the river and walking area... Showing us a picture of her usual habits (nothing out the ordinary for her to be there) this case is either very simple and it's a tragic accident ... Or anything but.

Good point re motorcyclist/cyclist.

She's walking back to bench with Willow.
Perp uses same entrance she did 9.10-9.15...
walks to where she is, does something.
Fast.
Witness strolls along at 9.33. NB is gone.

The rest I don't know...how why where...
I think it's likely they have dashcam up to that time and after that time.. maybe even someone saw something and all they're looking for is a confirmatory sighting?
Coffee for head...that's what I do anyway..
