Just to note once again, Incels can now be considered terrorists if that is what has driven them to kill females. There have been several cases of it on this side of the pond- and they come in all shapes, colours and religions.

In this particular case, who knows- maybe he did not take his meds, or had too many and thought the moving fairy lights were an evil entity he had to destroy, grabbed them, was stopped and all he** broke loose. Maybe. speculation, imo.

I am wondering if he was found through DNA of a family member who may of had DNA taken by the police previously.

It would definitely explain the 36 year old man arrested and then released, also from all the way in south London.

A teenager has appeared at the Old Bailey accused of killing two sisters in an “unprovoked and random attack” in a park.

On Monday, he appeared before Judge Mark Lucraft QC by video link from custody at Wandsworth prison in south London.

When asked to confirm his identity, he replied: “Yes, Your Honour.”

Prosecutor Joel Smith told the court: “This was an unprovoked and random attack on two members of the public involving the use of a knife.”

Judge Lucraft set a plea and case management hearing for September 21, when a trial date will be considered.

The defendant, who wore a grey jumper, was remanded into custody.

None of the victims’ family attended court for the brief hearing.

That's interesting wording ........when a trial date will be considered ........

I wonder if it is known that he will plead guilty ? or does it indicate that there may be psychiatric evaluations which will result in no trial taking place ?

Interesting wording of entwined, I think that's the first time they were described that way. My mind breathtakingly thought of one protecting the other. Or he took the time to lay them out.

I agree @Alyce, I'm leaning towards there being a psychiatric evaluation.

Agree with both of you, I have a feeling it may come out that the defendant has psychiatric problems.

Mr [Joel] Smith [prosecuting,] said: “On June 7 a group of concerned friends returned to the park to search for them and went to the area where the picnic had been held and found some sunglasses beginning to Miss Henry and then a blood stained knife and the bodies of both deceased lying in a hedgerow.

“Miss Smallman had her clothing pushed up, exposing her midriff and multiple stab wounds.

“Miss Henry also had her clothes pulled up over her head exposing friction marks on her stomach.

Possibly as a result if being dragged to the position found?

I think that's a good shout @Spy Versus Spy and maybe that's where a lot of his DNA was there too. But I still can't get my head around the injury that was described and him being able to do that.

  • #419
I am also thinking he was mentally Ill but would he not be deemed unfit to stand before any court hearing if this was the case ?

My first opinion in this thread.
I've thought for awhile that the sight of two women dancing together sent the murderer into a rage.
Is there a word for people who hate same sex couples. My thought was the murderer thought that's what they were.
And now the entwining makes me think I'm on the right track.
