I don't know---I don;'t have it sorted out yet. I guess there are two relevant female doctors and I am not sure which is which in terms of the incidents.
I "think" Dr Tea has chosen to remain anonymous so , as they're reporting the CPR lady doctor's name I'm assuming it's not Dr Tea.

Ah so she wouldn't have been in for a week from 2 July anyway. And , if guilty knew she would be away from the ward and not able to harm any babies for a week too, which may have explained the alleged ramp up of attacks when she came back from Ibiza.

IMO if guilty
it was almost two weeks

text next evening

LL: I’ll be fine. You’ve had a rubbish sleep then. Seeing Kay tomorrow night as it’s her birthday. Otherwise just sorting stuff at home ready for hols. No, Torquay is a proper booked holiday, off for nearly 2 weeks!'

Is he though? I mean obviously these are prosecution witnesses but I’d imagine in this case they really need to be calling all the relevant present medical staff members regardless of that staff members position on her guilt. They’re only largely being asked what happened on each event. In fact the only two times I can think of a staff member showed their opinions it was dr J and his feeling about her when he saw her standing over the crashing baby, and the female dr who sent triplet three away.

I know we can’t know really, but it would be interesting to see which staff members fall which way in their opinions.
Yes, we don't know his thoughts about the situation at this time. But immediately upon hearing his name and realising he was about to testify, she stood up and tried to walk out of the court room.

So something about the situation was very upsetting for her. She could have had the opposite reaction and been happy to hear his name and think he was going to set things straight---but she didnt for some reason.

Just musing, but why say 'IF they only get minimal evidence...'? I think I'd be saying when.

I also find that particular message odd ...I'd be saying well they won't find anything

Interestingly, I read online that someone went to court yesterday and said that BM absolutely rinsed Dr Evans. And that you wouldnt know that from reading Dans reports...

I know it's unlikely to stay up but, where did you see this?

Curious at this point that judging by her language she still doesn’t seem to know how serious this situaction could be. theres no indication that she thinks this could turn into a legal matter. I’m surprised all in all at her use of the word “silly” to me that’s a word used for a trivial matter, eve without the police this is not a trivial matter or situation to be in. Although looking at her use of language in the past it’s fitting but still out. Really blooming curious.

If she's guilty she's hardly going to start talking about the worst case scenario when it looks like they're just checking if she did everything correct and didn't miss anything rather than her having deliberately harmed anyone. Of course, if guilty she would be privately worried it could then lead to that but she's not likely to share that with anyone. Far better to pay it down with how "silly" they'll look.

I think she did know how serious it could be.

Ms Letby tells a colleague that the call from a senior nurse telling her not to come in had sent her into a 'meltdown' and that she was 'completely overwhelmed' with worry

She seemed to be very scared and upset so I think she did realise the potential seriousness.

The use of the word 'silly' does not mean, imo, that she thought it was trivial. I think she was trying to say they were going to look 'silly' as in embarrassed and stupid. ---not that the situation itself was silly because 7 babies died.

I think your right.

Clearly not straight away, if he was passing that info over to her.

And not that I think it's the case, but if LL is guilty, some of Doc Choc's actions could make him look like he was involved with what she was doing. Things like him tipping her off by forwarding Dr B's email, saying he'll vouch for her, saying how well they work together in resus etc.

IMO if guilty etc
I’ve considered this myself too as the trial has progressed; it looks bad on his part, almost like he is involved in doing harm aswell. Forwarding that email was absolutely shocking.

urghhhh sorry to ask but I’m wondering what stage in evidence presented we are at? Kind of wondering about how long this final case has to go? Then onto the defence if any.

I wonder if they will wrap Baby Q up today? Then when they return in a couple of weeks to deal with the notes and any extraneous information. Then onfo defence

They finished baby Q evidence this morning with summary of her police interview.

I think that’s doc choc putting his neck on the line for ll. a heads up about a horizon that’s looking increasingly dark. He’s being a real friend there. If guilty he’s another victim. He does have one fault I think and one that’s more human nature than otherwise, he thinks with his trousers.

And if Doc Choc and Dr B are both still working at the hospital, the next time they cross paths is gonna be really bloody awkward.

Definitely thinking with the trousers imo. Whether a friend or not; it was a genuine serious concern that he should have not have shared and patient safety should have been upheld first and foremost.
I wonder if there has been ramifications from that.

That is how "workplace romances" usually end.

As some celebrity said:
Quoting
"I don't s..t where I eat"

Now, who said that...?

Actually, don't think we've heard the evidence yet for baby Q's later brain scan, or Alder Hey where he was transferred for 2 days. They don't usually introduce the police interview summary before they've finished the case evidence, but in this case maybe there is still a bit more to come.

I really hope he was held to account for this action tbh.

I'm thinking it's possible hospital weren't aware until today. Unless he confessed what he'd done.
