Like just about everything else in this case, this is just so ambiguous! On the face of it, it's the ramblings of someone who is genuinely guilt ridden that they couldn't help a dying baby but, on the other hand, could be written by someone who's guilty as hell but who's just massively mentally messed up!

Quick Google search tells me Kathryn is an OHS nurse at the COCH so possible she was on the phone to OHS at the time. Would make sense with her grievance etc

I did google this the other day and it seems they are but from the Disney film I think. Tigger is in the original books but I don't think Smudge is. However, on googling there are loads of links to tigger and smudge - youtube channels, instagram, pet forums - either LL was prolific or they are very common names!

Thing is; if you genuinely have some weird compulsive disorder causing you to hoard stuff like this totally innocently, you get arrested for murder and these documents are brought up in police interview, what do you think you're likely to say?

Confessing to having such strange proclivities (when you might not even have accepted yourself that you have them) you might not see as being the best thing to say! In that case "I can't remember" is one of the few responses that, imo, might be expected. Her FB searches tend to suggest some compulsive issue as well. She said the same in relation to them.

Honestly, this whole thing is just so far beyond weird it's almost unbelievable. I keep going between one extreme and the other; the issue is, I think, that the stuff which has come out over the past few days is, at first sight so utterly weird and damning but when you actually read what she's written and look at the stuff she's collected it could be entirely innocent, if very strange.

I’ve never been so glad to not be sitting on a jury in my life. All we can hope is that from the jury’s perspective everything is crystal clear, for their sake as much as for the sake of justice.

Hats off to them. I really don't think I would last the course. I've struggled with reading the harrowing detail of the accusations. Then there's all the medical stuff to try to understand, and the sheer volume of information because of how many babies are involved. And that's before you even get to the total headfck that was yesterday when the notes were revealed!
