Or what was that other place mentioned? Oh yes, Upperthong. However I see that it's in Yorkshire, so probably not so floral.

I think that was me. Hangs head in shame. ;)

Apparently Albania is an up and coming holiday destination from the UK now, even though there are still Albanians coming here seeking asylum. Of course, it's different going on holiday somewhere from actually living there!

We have heatwave here. On Sunday it was over 30 Celsius.
We had something similar a couple of weeks ago (in the UK). It doesn't last long, though.

Meet basil
Don’t think the paper will work but give him a cricket and he will have it in pieces.

He’s a giant shield mantis and he’s just like a painting really. wherever you go his eyes follow you.

I think I’d choose to discuss the cases that appear to have some link such as the insulin ones first. IMO and this is just an example, if the jury found that LL was guilty of one insulin poisoning then it wouldn’t take much IMO to conclude she could well be guilty of the other. Once that had been established then going through the rest of the cases with the knowledge you already believe she has committed atleast 2 of the alleged offences, seeing how strong the evidence is that each victim was actually harmed by someone, then looking for the link between the victim and LL, was she the designated nurse? Was she in the immediate area? Did she have opportunity to be alone with the baby? Etc…

I suppose there are lots of ways they could go about it, I think some cases can be decided quickly as IMO links are quite clear, the chances of 4 sets of siblings collapsing 24 hours apart is very unlikely IMO, babies A & B, E & F, L & M and O & P, could also be the starting point to begin deliberations then going back to look at the other cases and look for links between each one.

MOO
First time poster on this thread although I have been following the case to some extent as it's my local hospital (I was there recently with my mum for her cataract operation!)

I have great respect for the jury, I would really struggle to cope with the sheer volume of information. In some ways it would have been easier to just hear the evidence for one charge, make a decision on it, then move onto the next charge. I know that's not how it works but I know that I would be completely overwhelmed.

I just wanted to add that I know that the hospital comes over really badly because of this case, but my family has used the hospital many times in the last couple of years (unfortunately, due to my husband's poor health) and I have nothing but praise for the treatment he has received.
