This is getting ridiculous now. I hope the judge will step in and do something if this continues after today.

Unbelievable...Monday again

It started quite soon after resus I think, but signs of life lasted for hours.
Interesting. Pure speculation on my part but it may be conceivable that after the heart stimulation in the resus efforts that maybe the air bubble was only partially shifted and maybe that allowed for partial flow of oxygenated blood To resume? Pure guesswork

When it gets to the point that you can actually PREDICT Monday not going ahead on Friday afternoon it is beyond a joke. The judge needs to step up.

Apparently the judge has said "due to unforseen circumstances" Well the Judge must be wearing a blindfold as I predicted this on Friday.

Not today

The jury in the trial of nurse Lucy Letby will not be sitting today. A juror cannot make it for 'unforeseen circumstances'. Judge says he expects deliberations to continue tomorrow

What is it about Mondays with this jury? Would love to know if it's the same juror whenever its a Monday absence .

I think it is too late to step up now.

This must be having a massive emotional toll on everybody involved.

We are fast approaching 10 months since the trial began.

Those babies families will be in turmoil right now, many of which are probably making the commute each day to be present. Only for delays to continually occur due to juror absence.

I also have sympathy for the other jury members who have turned up consistently each day, I’m sure they’ll be more fed up than us, and will just want to see this come trial come to a close.

Yes I think the court will sit tomorrow and then immediately stand again and walk out. Juror absence.

A juror absence on Monday meant no deliberations took place on Monday. Trial judge Mr Justice James Goss told the remaining 11 jurors that enquiries had been made, and he was satisfied there were 'good reasons' that juror was not available, but that there was a good expectation that juror would be back on Tuesday.

He said he appreciated the juror deliberations were "at a critical stage" and this was an "exceptional circumstance which had arisen".

He added: "Sometimes these things happen, and it has happened."

He apologised to the jurors for the inconvenience.

The trial is expected to resume on Tuesday at 10.30am.
