We are appealing for motorists with dashboard mounted camera footage to come forward as part of our search to find missing Padiham man Peter Beason.
Peter, 58, went missing from the Station Road area on March 22.
He was seen at around 11.10am at Tesco in Padiham on the same day (pictured).
FollowIng CCTV enquiries, it is now known Peter was seen around 5.07pm on March 23 walking from the medical centre car park in Station Road with an umbrella in his right hand. He walked to the end of Station Road and turned right onto Burnley Road.
Around 5.26pm on the same day he was seen carrying a box in his right hand, as well as an umbrella. He walked across the front of the fire station and crossed Station Road before the bridge.
Peter is described as white, 5ft 8in tall, of slim build with brown and grey shoulder-length hair. Peter was wearing jeans, a fleece and a blue waterproof jacket with a hood. He may have been carrying a red rucksack.
Peter has links to Burnley and Padiham.
PC Mike Spencer, of Burnley Police, said: “Peter has been missing now for some time and we are really concerned for his welfare.
“We are really keen to trace any motorists driving on Station Road on March 23, between 5.05pm and 5.30pm. Did you see Peter? Do you have dashcam footage which could help us?
“Anything, no matter how seemingly insignificant, could be crucial to helping us find him.
“If anyone has any information, please call 101 or email [email protected] quoting log 0511 of March 26.”
