Ok, I'll get some rest doubt I'll sleep though. I'll study on it a bit ;) Carry on sleuthers! I'm so thankful we were all here together during this, made it easier on the nerves.

Nitey-nite Chico! Good to have you here with us! :) Try to have 'sweet dreams'! (I'd blow you a kiss but I wouldn't want it to look like I'm trying to 'kiss up' to a mod) :D

Hi dingo :) No offense, really, but I think I may need you to interpret. ;) What's a 'swaggie'? (A camper perhaps?) Is a 'billie' a teakettle?

It really sounds rather precarious to me! But, knowing myself, it sounds dangerous. lol
A swaggie is an Aussie walking the roads with no home always had the billy on his back...sort of like an old day camper/gypsy if you like.A billy is an open pot..no spout.

LOL, I didn't mean to leave ya'll hanging! I went to make coffee and then all 3 cats wanted to eat, of course I had to referee that event. While I was doing all that I was watching FOX and getting more ideas about how it might be done from the terrorism expert they had on.

One thing the expert said was that the liquid might be something as common as liquid nitrogen. You know nitro-glycerin. He said it can be very unstable but a little goes a long way. Good golly, don't farmers use nitro for blowing stumps out of the ground? I don't know how hard it is to get the stuff, but he made it sound easy. There wouldn't be many components needed for setting off some nitro glycerin, if any. We may have been trying to think too hard, or maybe I was.

Thank you for explaining, dingo. :) I thought maybe if it was a covered teapot (or teakettle), that might be more 'do-able'. Swinging around an open pot of boiling water is not something I'm going to be attempting anytime soon. I bet it takes some practice! I hate burns worse than any other kind of pain I've ever had. They are the worst!

LOL, have you ever seen "Sling Blade"? :D No need to blush, if you could only hear this rural Texas drawl of mine. :blushing: My manner of speaking is not as bad as his was in the movie, but it comes dangerously close sometimes!

Oh, that reaches down into the depths of fear. Carbombs and backpacks wasn't it? I saw a video of a backpack bomber inside a hotel or restaurant once, was that in Bali? Just awful stuff, all of it is. I often tell my husband that I was much happier before I ever became somewhat educated on terrorism. 9/11 is my daughter's BDay. She just hates that.
Im so sorry your daughter has to celebrate her bday on that awful date. The Bali bombings hurt us Aussies nearly as much as 9/11 hurt America...it was done with backpacks and cars.

I loved Sling Blade and I loved watching an American Serial with a charactor called Lucas Buck..American gothic...I just loved the sound of his voice.

Oh, I know it is hard on our countries to suffer such losses. I thought I would never stop crying after 9/11. I will never forget what I was doing that day. I had started out the day crying because it was the 1 yr anniversary of my oldest cat's death. I was at the computer trying to pick out a cheerful birthday e-card for K while I was crying about my cat. The TV was on and I looked up to see a plane fly into the tower and my mouth flew open. I knew immediately it was no accident. I was afraid to leave the house that night to keep the dinner reservations we had for K's BDay dinner, but my hubby convinced me I had to go, not to let her down. I went to downtown Dallas that night, but I was scared, I hid it from her though.

Thanks for the congrats, Mag!

I remember right after the planes hit, emailing a friend and saying I think it was Osama and Al Queda that was responsible. Very sad day!

I was so dumb to anything about terrorism, I did not even know who Osama Bin Laden was on 9/11. I think that is why I was so much in shock. The furthest I ever went on the internet back then was Hallmark. I don't think I had ever even paid much attention to cable news, except for OJ. I did watch the trial on CNN back then, but I had no knowledge of the internet.

Ouch! I can sympathize Michelle, broke a molar eating some yummy ribs 3 months ago and just now getting over the jaw pain of reconstruction of that tooth. Hope your tooth gets better soon, there's not much worse pain than a bad tooth.

This is scary. No sleep going on here today I think.
