From the above link

"Following the arrest, Ms Roberts taunted Prince Andrew on social media. 'Are you sweating yet, Prince Andrew?' she wrote.

'You should be. Your buddy Jean-Luc Brunel is behind bars. Remember those girls he supplied to you on the island?"

...and on A's bday, JLB is found hanging in his cell???

To be fair, the number of death by suicide among men is quite high.
In a prison cell, only hanging oneself is an option.
He was waiting for a trial and possible long sentence which, considering his age, might mean a life one.

Monkey see, Monkey do. It worked for JE so JLB decided to try it himself. Seems these rich and powerful men always have a way out.

VG was on Aussie 60 Minutes tonight, as was her lawyer, as was her boyfriend (at the time of the abuses).

I am not sure if others can see the 60 Minute segments in this article, but they are numbered 5, 6, & 7 if anyone is interested. (Ad breaks were between the segments.)

The article is about MH370 as that was the first part of tonight's 60 Minutes program.

I am kinda curious what her ex bf has to do with it after all this time although I know he sold his story to the British papers a little while ago

Jailed since his 2020 arrest, Jean-Luc Brunel had tried to kill himself several times, according to a source with direct knowledge of the matter who spoke on condition of anonymity.

One of Brunel’s, lawyers, Mathias Chichportich, confirmed to the Herald and 20 Minutes that his client committed “several suicide attempts“ over 14 months.

Yet, the modeling agent was not under active suicide watch, known in France as “emergency protection.”

I could not access the clips but I did find what I assume is the VRG segment on youtube via 60 Minutes Australia.

VRG's ex is witness to how she acted during that time.

the problem is hes contradicted himself somewhat ie he didnt know what was going on when it turns out he definetly did from other things that came out. Isnt he one of the people Dershowitz wants to depose?

Does anyone else feel like it would have been better if they hadn't required PA to acknowledge his wrongs? Everyone knows he doesn't believe what he wrote and it seems to me that he would look worse if there were no comments allowed and just that he settled it.

I don't know why I keep thinking this and maybe I'm not explaining it right.

to be fair he didnt really acknowledge his wrongs. That was meant to be the whole crux of the case but...he never did acknowledge he did wrong or at least only in his choice of friends maybe.

Yes, but do you see what I mean? It makes him look more guilty if he doesn't say anything.

I suppose to be fair hes said often enough that he didnt do it. You would have thought that VG would have insisted that would been part of the terms of any agreement but...it wasnt.

Words of remorse and apology are crucial.
More important than money.
That is how civilzed people behave.

Yes. Which is why it would have looked so much worse for him if nothing was said. I don't think I would have had him say anything.

My guess is, that was part of the agreement. A mutually agreed statement, basically.

Ah, good point. He knew it would make him look worse if he didn't make a statement, so that was part of what we wanted and she was allowed to dictate the terms of what was said.

That is exactly what VG's lawyer said on last night's 60 Minutes program. There were a few things that VG required before she would sign any agreement, one was that he admitted that sex trafficking was going on, another was that the public disclosure of the victims has caused great pain for the victims (I may have worded these things wrong, it is still very early in our morning) and I think there was something else also. Just can't remember what it was at the moment.

He agreed to their terms, so VG signed.
