"Following the arrest, Ms Roberts taunted Prince Andrew on social media. 'Are you sweating yet, Prince Andrew?' she wrote.
'You should be. Your buddy Jean-Luc Brunel is behind bars. Remember those girls he supplied to you on the island?"
To be fair, the number of death by suicide among men is quite high.
In a prison cell, only hanging oneself is an option.
He was waiting for a trial and possible long sentence which, considering his age, might mean a life one.
VG was on Aussie 60 Minutes tonight, as was her lawyer, as was her boyfriend (at the time of the abuses).
I am not sure if others can see the 60 Minute segments in this article, but they are numbered 5, 6, & 7 if anyone is interested. (Ad breaks were between the segments.)
The article is about MH370 as that was the first part of tonight's 60 Minutes program.

I am kinda curious what her ex bf has to do with it after all this time although I know he sold his story to the British papers a little while ago
the problem is hes contradicted himself somewhat ie he didnt know what was going on when it turns out he definetly did from other things that came out. Isnt he one of the people Dershowitz wants to depose?I could not access the clips but I did find what I assume is the VRG segment on youtube via 60 Minutes Australia.
VRG's ex is witness to how she acted during that time.
There's a thread for Epstein too if you weren't aware.I didn’t realise there’s a parallel thread running about a wider range of Epstein/Maxwell news:
GUILTY - NY - Ghislaine Maxwell, Jeffrey Epstein confidante, arrested on Sex Abuse charges, Jul 2020 #5
Does anyone else feel like it would have been better if they hadn't required PA to acknowledge his wrongs? Everyone knows he doesn't believe what he wrote and it seems to me that he would look worse if there were no comments allowed and just that he settled it.
I don't know why I keep thinking this and maybe I'm not explaining it right.
to be fair he didnt really acknowledge his wrongs. That was meant to be the whole crux of the case but...he never did acknowledge he did wrong or at least only in his choice of friends maybe.
Yes, but do you see what I mean? It makes him look more guilty if he doesn't say anything.
Words of remorse and apology are crucial.Does anyone else feel like it would have been better if they hadn't required PA to acknowledge his wrongs? More important than money.
That is how civilzed people behave.
My guess is, that was part of the agreement. A mutually agreed statement, basically.Yes. Which is why it would have looked so much worse for him if nothing was said. I don't think I would have had him say anything.
