#beckywatts: Shauna and Becky didn't spend a lot of time together. Did bond over their hair. SH given some of Becky's clothes

Hoare: NM pointed out "mainly people younger than him", said he "wanted to have sex with them. He would generally say 'I'd give them a go'".

#beckywatts: On Nathan & teenage girls: "He would point out he'd like to have sex with them... He would generally say he'd give them a go."

He sounds revolting.

Hoare: "He [Matthews] had a very interesting sense of humour, so people would either understand it or they really wouldn't."

One way of putting it I suppose !

A relative had given Becky a cheque, Nathan - thinking that Becky didn't deserve it - took it.

We don't know who took it or why but I agree that's probably what happened.

If you're thinking shopping trolley no but he used a sack truck type trolley.

what like the granny shopping bags on wheels?

And was ok with the long term lie about NM living at CML when she was meant to be the only official resident. So SH can lie when she wants to.

Interesting- the reasons she gives for lying to police about the messages.
Panic as it " looked bad."

Then next - justified with - it's a twisted sense of humour, NM wasn't serious.
So why panic and lie, why not just admit & say - yes, but he isn't serious , these messages between us are a joke?

Hoare felt "panic" when police showed her messages. Initially denied she was anything to do with them. #BeckyWatts
Hoare admits lying about the messages: "I knew what Nathan had been charged with, I knew what happened and I knew how bad it looked".
Hoare: "He [Matthews] had a very interesting sense of humour, so people would either understand it or they really wouldn't."

Hoare: Responding making a joke about kidnapping them. "A lot of the time I accepted the inappropriate things he said."

Could this be the relevance of BW giving SH clothes, to suggest that the cheque was inside a pocket.

or Becky's clothes being stashed in the shed

[h=3]'Nathan would talk about wanting to have sex with teenage girls'[/h]Hoare is asked about Matthews’ attitude towards pretty, teenage girls.
She said: “Occasionally he would make inappropriate comments, saying how he would like to have sex with them.
“He would generally say: ‘I would give them a go’.”
Hoare said she did not like the comments.

I remember seeing a post on SH FB of a newly married couple walking in Central Park (the woman in a wedding dress) and the groom turning to look at a woman in a short skirt. The caption was 'Some things never change', and Shauna had tagged Nathan in it. He'd commented something along the lines of 'I can't help it, I'm a man'.

I can understand her panicking and initially lying - I think it's partly human nature. She did later admit it.

I don't think, a weeks worth of snogging at 13 constitutes a "relationship", personally.

At that age yes one to two weeks could be a relationship. Either way I'm sure you'd agree that its in her interests to play down her sexual interest in females?

I think it's quite common at that age - it's usually more experimental than being a "relationship". Girls often investigate their new-found sexual urges together before getting involved with boys.

Shauna has a top QC defending her today .

http://www.guildhallchambers.co.uk/barristers/207/Andrew-Langdon/

"HE THINKS THROUGH PROBLEMS IN A CLEAR SIGHTED, ANALYTICAL WAY WITH AN EYE ON WHERE HE WANTS THE CASE TO GO". "HE REALLY IS SUPERB."

"Andrew is a criminal silk who regularly appears in cases of homicide, complex fraud and regulatory crime."

Do you know what this cheque is and it's significance - first time I have heard it mentioned, but then i am playing catch up with all you guys. :blushing:
It's was a cheque which Beckys grandmother had sent to her to buy new shoes. It went missing and turned up at NMS house

Yes ON HER OWN - we've already heard that sometimes he 'Sent her to the shop' - if he SENDS her to the shop, in his mind he's still in control as he has allowed it not her free will.
