Sam Galsworthy, Becky’s uncle read out a victim impact statement on behalf od her dad Darren Galsworthy.
He said: “I’m the father of Becky Watts now known as Bristol’s angel.
“We will never understand why this has happened but we now believe we are victims in a plot of hatred and greed.
“This despicable act of evil can never be forgiven or forgotten.
“When the news came our entire world collapsed.
“I can’t describe the searing pain and anguish Anjie and I felt when Becky was found.
“The only way I can describe it is like being cast off a cliff into despair.”
Darren said Matthews and Hoare sat and watched him descend into madness.
He said: “It truly would have been much easier to have taken us all, than have to cope with the aftermath of this crime.”

She "speaks" really well. I think she has been the forgotten victim - DG's family is so big, and there has been a lot of activity on social media from them since February (by that I mean searchable, not they have been posting things to the general public) so I think a lot of the time it has been forgotten that Becky had another family. Her mum and grandma have been so dignified and private. I really hope they have been getting the support and help they need.
