I want to know what the LOL refers to. It reads to me like she is making a joke of the word "work" - like referring to what he is doing at that time as 'work' as if its funny (to them) what he is doing. 'what time will you be finished your work of cleaning up and getting rid of the body?' or 'what time will you be back from buying the things we need to deal with Becky?' - as if it is their 'work' or 'job'.

I mean, why write LOL when asking a simple sentence that isn't funny or relating to anything funny. I've seen people use LOL to mean 'lots of love' but she adds that kind of greeting at the end, so can't be that.
If Nathan had left Shauna at his mums and said he was going to help a mate then the LOL may have been a 'yeah doing some work with a mate! ;) ;) more like playing play station or having a beer!

well, obviously (sorry!) we now know that wasn't the case, but nowadays with texts and emails and facebook etc, people can have a row or get upset any time, out of the blue. It's a different world from when i was a teenager chilling in my room, i only had a record player :o

lol. :)

Yes it gives the impression shes putting the word "work" in inverted commas. Taking the P. This could link in with her saying he bought the saw to do some work for a friend. At this point he's bought the saw but she shouldn't know that.

In police interview, SH said she didn't see the text from NM's friend #beckywatts

SH never asked, when NM came home, where he had been or who he had been with #beckywatts

Even though SH admits NM had no friends she said she didn't find the fact he got a text requesting help from a friend 'weird' #beckywatts

Hoare told police she was a "heavy sleeper" and wouldn't notice if Matthews got up and did something while she was asleep in their bed.

SH also says she was a heavy sleeper, so if NM had woken up and left the bedroom in the night she wouldn't have known #beckywatts

Good find ...that's it then. SH is at Crown Hill when she texts re the memory card/stickers.

NM said in his statement that he and SH were usually at Crown Hill Mondays/Wednesdays/Fridays and sometimes other days as well, so having mail delivered there would not be so unusual.

Still seems unusual to me to get mail delivered anywhere other than home, even if you visit another family members house at certain points in the week. I guess another alternative is that they weren't buying them through a company and were buying them off somebody who does a bit of wheeling and dealing and brings them to Beckys house. Hopefully police have checked the phone info to see where both phones were that day.

NO way did she not ask where he'd been. This is the day he bought the saw and she's already said she thought he'd bought the saw to help a friend.

SH got confused over dates throughout one part of the interview, constantly getting mixed up between Friday Feb 20 and saturday #beckywatts

Claire Hayhurst ‏@clairehayhurst · 54 secs55 seconds ago
Hoare corrects herself, says cut was there on Friday (day after #beckywatts went missing), she mentioned it to him that night in bed

Shauna doesn't necessarily have to have been at home.

With most delivery services now, you get tracking info so she could've been anywhere in the world and had a text/email/looked at tracking info which told her that he's items had been delivered.

Fair point. Though to me saying they have "Arrived" makes it sounds like she was there to receive them rather than just hearing they had been delivered. That text would just flag up to me the need to check exactly where SH was at that point.

Almost beyond belief.

So he gets a text asking him to go and help a friend -even though he has no friends.
SH doesnt ask him who this is.

Then he comes back with a cut on his hand, SH asks about the cut, but STILL doesnt ask who is this friend.

Friday , hmmn so she sees a cut on his hand before (in his story) he claims to have used the saw.

Can also mean "laugh out loud" I'm guilty of writing that when I want the recipient to known I'm joking or finding something funny

Looks like shes distancing herself from being involved in any cutting activity. But in his version of events he hasnt used the saw yet.

Hoare: Matthews tried to strangle her for 4 or 5 seconds when she was on the bed. He "huffed and puffed" then offered to get her cigarettes.

It's not so weird - I get stuff delivered to my work all the time because they're thieving gits by me and I don't trust the delivery men to put the parcels in a safe place. Failing that as some delivery companies won't deliver to commercial properties I get them to deliver to my moms as I know there's someone always In
