Still seems unusual to me to get mail delivered anywhere other than home, even if you visit another family members house at certain points in the week. I guess another alternative is that they weren't buying them through a company and were buying them off somebody who does a bit of wheeling and dealing and brings them to Beckys house. Hopefully police have checked the phone info to see where both phones were that day.

I very rarely get packages delivered to my home as I will rarely be there in the day times. At present I'd always get them delivered to my work, but previously I got them delivered to my mum and dads as I knew they would nearly always be home. This included when I lived 200 miles away - I saw them most weekends so could get my delivery quite quickly.

Thinking back, when my grandmother was a bit younger (in her 80s - she's 94 now!) I would sometimes get things delivered there too.

Maybe she means he won't let her go out to pick them up without him (because she might run off with someone else!).

I had an emotionally abusive ex who once cut himself before we even started dating because I had turned him down at first (I didn't know this until long after it had happened).

Well she's certainly doing a good job of painting the woe is me angle...there may be some element of truth in what she is saying but I still can't see how that means she didn't know what was going on. Surely if she was seriously trying to go down the abusive partner "I had no choice" route then she wouldn't be doing this whole I don't know anything g charade...I'm confused by her

Everything hinges around smoking - his controlling nature - smoking. Their arguments - smoking. Her alibi - smoking

On a side note he does have reason to worry..my friends mom went out to get a takeaway and never came back. Ended up Shacked up with a neighbour who also left their house to "go to the shop" at the same time

From witness statement he does appear to try to control her but like his grandmother says she then gets her way.

Becky's friend said he didn't want SH to cut her hair yet there's a post on her FB where she's talking about going to get her hair cut and then showing off her new haircut and the only comment from NM before she gets it done is a joke about not having it cut skinhead.

Okay, so SH says that NM had strangled her in the past, and NM said he strangled Becky. Fits in nicely doesn't it - previous evidence of NM strangling someone, so adds weight to him being guilty and SH being innocent.................... except Becky didn't die from being strangled.

I wonder if this something they made up between them, not realising that a pathologist could still determine a cause of death even though Becky's body wasn't intact? Did he think that the decapitation he had carried out would make it impossible for anyone to prove he hadn't strangled Becky?

Is she trying to show why she didn't ask any questions about anything that happened over those days - because she feared that if she did he would blow up and attack her again - or worse still, get the fork out for himself !!!
