She's 5ft 8ins tall, slim and white with dark brown hair, unlike the picture. The last confirmed sighting of her was at 4pm on Thursday 27 November in Walcot. She was wearing black leggings, striped socks, brown boots and a long dark green-brown jumper.

She was reported missing on Wednesday 17 December. Officers have yet to trace her and her vehicle, a silver-gold Mini reg YN56 UUL.

Robyn often visits surrounding villages, especially Combe Hay. We are growing increasingly concerned for her wellbeing.

If you see Robyn or her car, please call 999 quoting reference 5225354485.

The police update states that Robyn's last confirmed sighting is now at 1.15am on Friday 28th November.

She was seen near the Esso Garage on London Road, heading towards Morrisons.

She was also wearing a different top; instead of a dark coloured jumper, she was wearing a lighter black top.

What's significant about this new later sighting, is that there are only 3 viable ways that she could have got from Bathwick Street to the Esso garage in London Road.

1) by walking across the main Cleveland bridge that links Bathwick Street to London Road, but which is full of CCTV cameras.

2) same as above, but via a vehicle

3) via a little known foot bridge; Grosvenor Foot Bridge, that links Kensington Meadows; that forms part of the River Avon footpath north of the river, directly to the Kennet and Avon Canal towpath located south of the River.

Note that It's possible to walk through the Morrisons car park to the corner, and then walk down onto the footpath at the far edge of western edge Kensington Meadows, and then walk north-east along the river to then reach the Grosvenor Foot Bridge, which then takes you over the River Avon, under the train line and then directly onto the Kennet and Avon towpath.

Heading south on this towpath would lead you to come out onto Beckford Road, which is very close to where Robyn was seen heading to earlier that evening (but from the direction of Bathwick Street; ergo, from the opposite direction)

The previous sighting of her in Bathwick Street and heading towards Beckford Road, means she was heading directly away from her later sighting near the Esso Garage in Morrisons.

That means that at some point she had to either turn around, head back up Bathwick Street and cross the river via the Cleveland Bridge, or get into a vehicle, or continue her walk towards Beckford Road, and then walk along the canal foot path up to Grosvenor Foot Bridge, walk across and come out at Kensington Meadows, walk along the river to the far end of Kensington Meadows and then come out in Morrison's car park.

This is the reverse route that she may have been attempting to make when she was last seen heading towards Morrisons. The supermarket would be closed by then, so the only reason to go there would be to either walk along the river, go to a vehicle, or use the cash point.

There's also a self storage facility located close by.

I would suggest that it's unlikely that she walked across Cleveland bridge, as she would have been picked up by multiple CCTV cameras.

Her change of top also means that she had to have deposited her thicker jumper somewhere relatively close by.

The timing between sightings and her relatively close physical proximity for those 2 sighting means that there's a high probability that Robyn spent the time between sightings within the same geographical area.

A house, flat, or even canal boat could be a viable option.

If I was leading the case, and Robyn wasn't caught on CCTV cameras along London Road, then unless she was in a vehicle, I would be looking for any evidence between the Morrison's car park, possibly including the self storage facility, then through to the footpath leading down onto Kensington Meadows, north along the River, across Grosvenor footbridge, under the train arch/trainline, south along the canal towpath, in canal boats moored nearby, and then back into Beckford Road.

Note that there have been recent works and improvements in that section of the River close to Cleveland Bridge, which I believe encompasses the area north of that bridge. That could be significant.

Edited by me for focus.

This is an excellent piece of analysis. I particularly agree with your last two sentences. My only real area of disagreement is regarding Robyn's possible use of the footpaths along the river and canal - I can't imagine any woman (and I am assuming that Robyn was on her own here) would use those footpaths at night, but who knows? If Robyn has ended up on a canal boat, which is certainly a possibility, then she would be more difficult to locate (and perhaps that is her intention). I wonder if the police have reached out to the canal boat community?

It certainly looks like she has left of her own free will, at least initially anyway. But why? Who reported her missing on the 17th December? Seems a long time since she was seen at least by CCTV, when was the last time she was seen in person by someone? If reported by family or friends maybe she is estranged from them and they don't see her often. If it's someone who lives with her this would be more suspicious imo.

My mind goes to other women of menopausal age that have gone missing in the UK in recent years and unfortunately been found in water.

It would be interesting to know whether Robyn had been to the Esso garage itself.

The garage appears to be open 24 hours, and would be the only outlet open at that time of the morning, with possibly some late night take away outlets also open.

The stretch of London road running between the Cleveland bridge junction up to the Esso garage/Morrisons traffic light junction, is full of CCTV cameras, and so if unless she was in a vehicle, or walked by the river and canal path, then she must have been caught on CCTV walking north before she gets to the Esso garage.

Unless of course she was walking south down London road towards Morrisons with the Esso garage on her right; the garage then being located on the opposite side of the road.

But regardless of which direction she is seen walking from, or which direction she is walking towards, the fact that she had previously been seen in Bathwick Street heading south east towards Beckford Road, means that she had to have crossed the River Avon at some point.

She can only do that by car, walking down one of the busiest roads in Bath (even at 1.15am) or by walking alongside the River Avon and the Avon Canal Towpath, by using the Grosvenor foot bridge located north of the main Cleveland Bridge in London Road.

The next crossing is further north at the Toll bridge, but that's too far north.

The car park in Morrison's at that time of night would be practically empty, unless it's a spot for courting couples and such like.

The access path at the far corner of the Morrison's car park is only known to those familiar to the area.
I used this same River path walk when I rented a flat just off London road over 2 decades ago, so I know that it is a viable route for anyone wanting to avoid the main London road north of the Morrison's junction.

Note that there is no public access via the River footpath south of Morrisons car park; ergo, you can't use the car park to cut through and head directly south towards Cleveland Bridge on the river's north side.
So essentially the southerly end of the public footpath on the north side of the river, ends at the corner of the Morrison's car park i.e. you can't continue walking alongside the river Avon on it's north side to reach Cleveland bridge.

Therefore, if you want to get to Beckford Road (where Robyn was seen walking towards earlier) you either have to walk down London Road and then turn left and walk across Cleveland bridge, or cut through Morrison's car park, head north briefly to the Grosvenor foot bridge, and then cross the river, follow the path past the train line and then onto the canal towpath, which can lead you either south to come out at Beckford Road, or north east to follow the trainline and head out of Bath.
Note that the river, trainline and canal virtually run parallel to each other from this point.

It's quicker to use the London Road route, but if someone wanted to avoid cameras and remain anonymous, they could indeed use the Grosvenor foot bridge and use the quiet route instead.

One thing to note is that due to the recent works, there's a chance that the footbridge has subsequently been closed.

If that's the case and there's currently no viable access via foot over the footbridge, then Robyn could only have used the main London Road and Cleveland bridge to later be seen near the Esso garage.

If that's the case, she should be found on multiple CCTV cameras

If not, then she had to have been in a vehicle (if the footbridge is indeed closed)

I noticed there were some very interesting comments made by members of the general public on the official Avon and Somerset Police FB page relating to Robyn's disappearance.

One in particular mentions that Robyn regularly cycles along London Road, lives close to the Esso Garage and is a regular at the Morrison's store opposite the Esso garage.
Another comment states that Robyn has an Air BNB property on London Road that she rents out
Someone mentions specifically that they saw Robyn leaving a house on London Road and she didn't look happy about something.
It's also been mentioned that she had owned some Pugs, but that one had recently died.

it seems that Robyn lives in London Road, and that she then disappears shortly after leaving either her own house, or her Air BnB property (which could be the same place?)

Her car being found in Bathwick, relatively close geographically to her being seen walking south east and away from Cleveland Bridge (London Road) but her subsequently being seen close to her house/flat in London road (near the Esso garage) seems particularly intriguing.
Note that the parking is horrendous in both London Road and Bathwick.

Curiously, the initial thread on the A&S police FB page relating to Robyn's disappearance, seems to have been taken down today. There is another newer thread, but this does not include the information mentioned in the initial thread that has now been taken down.

It may indicate that some of the comments made on the A&S police FB site are relevant and significant to the ongoing investigation into her disappearance.

It would interesting to see if the police take heed of the comments made by the general public, as there's always some potentially relevant yet unfiltered data to be found; such is the nature of FB.

I anticipate this particular case will escalate relatively quickly now that the FB page has been edited to omit certain information. It suggests that the case is progressing significantly, and that can only be a good thing in the bid to find the truth about what's happened to Robyn.

There's been another official update today;

Robyn was last seen at "1.18am, on Meadows Lane" in Bath.

Meadows Lane is the small side road just off of London Road that leads down directly to Kensington Meadows.

As I've mentioned previously, Kensington Meadows is located just north of the River Avon.

If Robyn was near the Esso Garage and heading towards Morrison's supermarket, she may have walked past the junction and continued north up London Road, before then turning right onto Meadows Lane and heading towards Kensington Meadows.

Considering she has/had dogs, it's likely that Kensington Meadows was a place she regularly took them for walks.

And seeing as dogs like rivers, it's also likely that Robyn knew that walking to the end of Kensington Meadows would bring her to the River Avon, with Morrisons to her right and the Grosvenor foot bridge to her left.

That's assuming she was seen walking from London Road and down Meadows Lane towards Kensington Meadows.

The fact that it's her last sighting would support the theory that she never came back out of Meadows Lane to walk back into London Road and towards her home.

And if she didn't come back out of Meadows Lane, then she must have walked into Kensington Meadows and been close to the River Avon footpath.

Note that the Self Storage unit that I mentioned previously is actually located on Meadows Lane.

I would check the River footpath and the Grosvenor foot bridge (if it's still open)
