Sara Sharif: Father takes responsibility for death of 10-year-old daughter - BBC News
Urfan Sharif accepts “responsibility” for her death but denies he meant to kill her, a court heard.

Cannot find anyone else at moment who is reporting on it. I thought maybe it was when he confessed on phone or in interview but it says ‘breaking.’Wow!! I wonder if the court will accept that or continue to question B and F.
It says confesses rather than confessed so it must be in the present rather than past. I wonder if it is his brother he wants to save from being questioned and charged.Cannot find anyone else at moment who is reporting on it. Thank you for your understanding and inputYou are led to believe that Sara was happier with Beinash because that is her job, to get BB acquitted or at least to minimise her involvement to get her a lesser charge / reduced sentence.
Women absolutely do have the power to inflict terrible injuries - especially on a small child, and there have been many many cases of women causing horrific injuries to children. Look at the crimes of Shelly Knotek for example.
I am currently following the case of Avantae Deven, who is charged with killing 2 of her adopted children. (There are many many more examples - I’m sure others on here could give more examples).
I am still waiting for an explanation for those bite marks, and why Beinash is the only one refusing to give a dental impression.
It also troubles me that experts have reported that Sara’s wounds were not treated.
So even IF Beinash did not inflict those injuries on Sarah, it troubles me that she didn’t even try to help her or to treat her.
I feel like even if she didn’t inflict the abuse on her, there should be signs that she had tried to at least help her, ease her suffering, but there’s no sign that she ever received any treatment for any of her injuries.
I do understand why you would be on the fence though, and I agree, I am also interested to hear evidence from the prosecution.
We also haven't heard from defence AFAIK that urfan was physically abusive to bienash as I'm sure she would have kept 'reciepts" . Another indication that bienash had somewhat control over her own life and actions and urfan didn't control her is the fact her phone seems to contain messages that implicate urfan maybe they were retrieved by police through data or only the sister had them undeleted idk but she certainly didn't seem fearful urfan would find outYou are led to believe that Sara was happier with Beinash because that is her job, to get BB acquitted or at least to minimise her involvement to get her a lesser charge / reduced sentence.

Yes, don’t worry I understand, I was also on the fence about her involvement.Thank you for your understanding and input
I also believe all 3 are guilty and I want all 3 to recieve the longest sentence possible.
I acknowledged in my post that Caroline is trying to swing the jury in the favour of her client . I was merely summarising all I can recall from msm re bienash's actions .I'm just on the fence regarding is she guilty of allowing the death of a child by doing sweet F.A. to help Sara or is she guilty of murder by actually inflicting physical violence on Sara . This is why I'm eager to hear what the prosecutions case is ,as from articles so far it is not clear as to what evidence they have of her actually delivering blows . Whereas urfan has a previous history as long as my arm
On women being capable of inflicting horrific injuries on children I agree they are . I was taking into account testosterone levels that would enable a majority of men to have more physical strength than MOST women I did say it may sound sexist but it is a scientific fact . I also would not know if bienash may have had the same strength as urfan and whether it was indeed her that delivered the blows strong enough to break the shoulder blades .
A couple of bones in the body can be red flags in abuse cases and whom may have inflicted them by how hard it is to break them even through an accident such as a severe car crash .one is the shoulder blades the other is the hyoid both which were broken in Sara the others are the skull and femur bone . We rarely hear of anyone breaking these bones through accidently means such as a fall
I very much doubt they will be aquited as there are other charges ,they did not seek help for Sara . They could also have abused Sara and caused injuries.Yes, don’t worry I understand, I was also on the fence about her involvement.
I am curious about what happens now that Urfan has confessed and accepted responsibility for Sara’s death.
What happens to BB & the uncle?
Would they be automatically acquitted if he has confessed?
I still think they will all be sentenced as bienash and quite possibly the uncle allowed the death of a childSharif has now confessed.
It's being reported as a breaking news story.. with Sharif stating that he accepts everything. He might be trying to save his brother...quite a dramatic turn around though.
I don't believe the uncle was responsible...but was potentially facing jail as an adult living in the same house who did not intervene. More details to come....
Not sure what will happen to the trial now.
That's what I think, too. The prosecution and Caroline Carberry have done such a good job and the details are so damning that he's been advised this is the best course of action. But we shall see...I still think they will all be sentenced as bienash and quite possibly the uncle allowed the death of a child
I don't think this is urfan doing the right thing I feel his barrister had a word and said the video evidence and testimonials of social workers etc incriminate him too much and to change his plea for a more favourable sentence so instead of life with out parole . A time determined sentence such as 20 years or so . Don't think he did it to save bienash or uncle at all
