I don't doubt he could have got her in a car pretty quickly but it would be very tricky to do that all on the south circular without someone else getting involved. To be driving about, get close enough to spot her as a female, make a quick decision to pull up just in front, jump out and get her in a car would just take too much time unless you were incredibly lucky with traffic at that instant. More likely that is if he did grab her it would have been into a side area (Poynders or Rodenhurst Road) first then into his car. Perhaps he drove past her on the road and then waited for her to make it to that point before confronting her, Rodenhurst is the first road on the left once you pass Abbeville. There's a couple of residential car parks but they don't offer a get away route
Really great Points. I don't understand how he could have even known she was a young woman - in that weather, in the dark with her wearing those odd colourful clothes and hat - it could have been anyone - did he not care, or did he know who she was and recognise those clothes from seeing her on previous runs and walks perhaps.

Here's a zoomed in version of the video. IMO I can't confirm it being a head, but also couldn't say it wasn't. There is also something going on optically with the wing mirror on the left hand of the video. Looks like movement but it must be something happening optically, reflection or limitations of the recording device.

It's the indicator repeater along the back of the offside wing mirror flashing. The vehicle is waiting to turn right onto Dulwich Common from Lordship Lane. This vehicle is heading in the direction of Poynders Court (3 1/2 miles away).

my apologies, I didn’t realise that my posts qualified as information only available to a qualified practitioner. As I am unwilling to provide my personal information due to my professional role & research I am going to opt not to verify myself. I will also cease posting as I understand that’s what is falling foul of the rule.
Shame that a qualified person would not be contributing to the discussion - thanks for your input so far.

Looks like a light coloured head/hat/face moving back and forth in the drivers seat and interestingly enough it looks like the driver is learning over to open the passenger side window perhaps as hot air comes out of the passenger side window.

IMOO
now you can see hot air in the photo? sounds like you're talking hot air :-) sorry if that is too cheeky, just joking

This is my views too.

It is claimed Couzens was working at the American Embassy in Battersea on the day Miss Everard was taken.

Police arrested one of their own officers over the murder of Sarah Everard after a breakthrough from CCTV on a passing London bus as detectives also probe whether the suspect used his warrant card to lure her into his car after leaving work guarding the nearby US Embassy, it emerged today.

Scotland Yard are also said to be investigating whether Wayne Couzens, 48, used the current Covid-19 lockdown rules to stop the missing woman as she walked home to Brixton from her friend's home in Clapham, south-west London on the evening of March 3.

It was reported that neighbours noticed a Land Rover parked close to policeman Wayne Couzens' house in the historic town of Deal, and thought it was being watched by two men inside at around 5pm on Tuesday evening.

But it has been claimed today that Couzens, an armed diplomatic protection officer, worked a 2pm to 8pm shift guarding the US embassy close to Battersea Power station - less than three miles from where Miss Everard was last seen at 9.30pm.

The armed officer, who is part of the Met’s Parliamentary and Diplomatic Protection (PaDP) armed unit would have been picked up outside the embassy by a minibus and most likely taken to Charing Cross police station.

Once there, like all armed officers, he should have checked his firearm back into the armoury and headed to his locker to get changed.

He should not have gone home in full uniform. Instead, all officers are required to change into their civilian clothes.

MailOnline believes that the woods where the remains were found were known to him because Couzens' Ukrainian wife and their two children had visited for walks.

Could SE have stopped at one of the snack bar vans that are on Clapham Common - I think "Honest Tom's" used to have a portaloo (not sure re Covid) and as I think has been mentioned before is popular with night shift wokers - especially emergency services. Could WC has seen her while picking up some food/coffee there after his shift and followed SE?

Tom's does still have a portaloo, but it's staff only. No idea if they'd let someone else use it at night (they don't during the day)

I don't buy the loo theory (as I think the natural thing to do would be to go shortly before you leave, and this was only a few minutes in to her route)

But you can v clearly see the pavement someone would walk along that stretch of the A205 from Tom's which is only about 50 yards away, and it's well lit as there is an intersection with crossing lights at the end of Windmill Drive

You are absolutely right and I honestly and genuinely applaud you for taking this stance and you are right to do so but unfortunately, so many don’t and only have to see a blue flashing light abs they believe it to be a police car yet the reality is that anyone can buy one of those lights and put it on top of their car .
A piece of Advice for others reading this - if a purported police car, which you believe to be so due to the presence of a blue light or not , tries to stop you, you DO NOT have to stop. Only a marked police car is who you are mandated to stop for and it’s solely your discretion if you wish to stop for an unmarked car. I have always, when wanting to stop a car whilst I’m in a CID plain car, shouted up for a uniform presence to stop the car on my behalf, so that they know it’s a genuine stop . Please , if in the UK, make yourself aware of this fact if you don’t already know.

I had absolutely no idea about this. Thank you for sharing.

This might be a stupid question but what exactly are 'temporary operation rooms'?
With regards to Police they are a temporary mobile command unit so in other words, a mini police station contained within a vehicle and are usually used when it is far less time consuming to have one present than to have numerous officers trekking back and forth to the actual police start which could be a significant distance away. If you are not relating this to police then I am not sure as it depends on the context of the conversation.

I’m from the U.K. There’s a BIG difference in what I would do if approached by a pair of police in uniform in a police car during the day, and how I would react if I was confronted by a bulky guys in an unmarked car and no uniform at night. Anybody can claim to be police...

It’s been widely reported that they believe he used his badge.

It’s extremely common for plain clothed police officers to be on the streets of cities, especially London...

It makes me sad to hear of your experience. I’m also incredibly proud of you. Your self confidence speaks loudly. You share your scars so that others may know it’s possible to heal. Thank you from my heart to yours. ❤️
Thanks you so much, it has been tough, I developed panic attacks and PTSD but I have since recovered but I will continue to fight for the justice of others as much as possible. Women should be safe everywhere, its so sad. I really appreciate your sincere and genuine kind words!! X

I *think* there was previous mention of the fence. Our local on site sleuth will know better on that.
There is no digging/searching in the front garden, the tent is up to protect view into living room, there's no activity in tent that I can see, there's been a police officer outside all night, they are tending to come through a small alleyway right side of house, there have been some entering front door however attention is directed towards that side gate/alleyway inddors and I'm guessing back garden, the field behind there does not to seem to be searches etc a police woman walked across there this morning towards back of property.
Re larger black car :I was just whizzing through photos and I don't have the number plate but I can definately tell you the first letter is A if that is of any use x

The CCTV camera is here. (Attached shot)

yes but a badge wouldn’t be enough to lure me inside a car, I might have engaged in some conversation keeping physical distance especially due to Covid, obviously I can’t speak for Sarah but her family also agrees that she wouldn’t have got inside a car.

This is a grim comment and I'm sorry to make it... I just have a feeling that this crime scene will reveal not only further victims but also a place where WC took victim(s) to carry out (I don't even want to think about it) before carrying out murder. It is my opinion that this wasn't 'quick' as many of us would hope, all signs point towards meticulous planning. (Perhaps WC did not arrive home until very late that evening and that would explain the EC arrest, she perhaps lied about what time he came home.)
