This one unfortunately is in my home town, trial has been delayed due to the extreme heat we are having today and will continue tomorrow. it is so sad that this has happened. Sebastian Kalinowski murder trial live week 6 as verdict nearsI have followed many cases but this case has got to be the most worst… But is that because we know in detail cause of the CCTV footage and don’t know every detail of all the cases??? Let’s just all hope that justice will finally be served!!!!!
This is always the same grim pattern.
The partner of the bio parent
hatefully abuses the kid/s.
And the bio parent either watches silently, or joins in.
As if deprived of parental love.
PS
The murderer's name is ANDRZEJ (Andrew)
Not "Andrezj" or however the Press spell it.
RIP Sebastian![]()
I would advise abused teens to run away.
Go to Police station, show signs of abuse and beg for help.
Arthur or Logan were too young to escape, unfortunately.
It doesn't work. It never works.I would advise abused teens to run away.
Go to Police station/hospital/ church, etc., show signs of abuse and beg for help.
Well, I wouldn't be so pessimistic. It doesn't work. It never works.
When abused child does that then usually police, social services or whoever goes back to the parents to ask if it's true.
Then abusers say that it's not true, offer some lousy explanations for the injuries (if they feel like it, cause usually explanations are not needed) and apologise those nice and caring people for trouble that compulsive liar of a child caused them.
Then those people leave and kid is left for a beating and torture ten times as cruel as before.
Running away also works in favour of abusers. Kid runs away... then what? No safe place, no chance for work, school, and staying away from horror. If caught then forced to go back. More than one report of running away, and any further disappearance gets low priority. Sometime later ooops... it looks like parents beated that child to death few years prior and nobody noticed.
As most women are murdered by their abusive partners or stalkers right after they're taking serious steps to cut them out of their life, most of kids that end up tortured to death end up like that while in progress of being punished for tryng to run away from it, trying to reach for help or getting somebodys light, short-lived attention that caused their parents or mother's boyfriend's trouble.
Sadly the reality is that Social Services have the final word.Well, I wouldn't be so pessimistic.
I can't imagine any Police officer dismiss the cry of help coming from a minor.
In fact, in school where I work we often welcome Police officers/ psychologists who have meetings with students.
Kids are instructed where to find help.
They all know the phone number of Help Line - the help is waiting.
Nobody must put up with abusive treatment.
Permitting to be bullied and abused only emboldens the tyrants.
And kids nowadays know very well their rights.
Children's Rights.
After all, they are educated about them at school.
I see.Sadly the reality is that Social Services have the final word.
Social Services need to have significant and evidenced concerns to remove a child from their home environment and place them in emergency foster care or local authority accommodation....places are very limited.
This means that children are returned home and as we know Social Services are so under resourced that they are unable to maintain a close enough eye in the future and act quickly, if required.
I cannot tell you the number of times I took children into police protection, which is never done lightly. I would contact Social Services and pass the child into their care only to find out on my next shift that they had been returned home.
This is the reality. Our statutory services are failing children at risk!
Are you in the UK, Poland or elsewhere?I see.
Well, where I live, abused kids are placed in Emergency Care and the case is forwarded to Family Court.
Family Judge decides about the future of the maltreated child and the eventual removal of parenting rights.
