Shaun Brown has now been missing for 5 weeks. Laura who is Shauns brother has already lost a brother 19 years ago in different circumstances. He was never found. I have been unable to find a case even in North America where 2 people have been missing from the same family at different circumstances. As you can imagine Shauns family are devastated.
We do get a scene in this disappearance. Shaun leaves the house at night without his wallet. He may have been seen on CCTV at 1.15am. The next morning items of Shaun are located by a dog walker including Shauns phone and tobacco. This spot where these items where found is a memorable spot for the family as Shauns mothers ashes are located there. Its near Sampsons farm end, Preston Newton Abbot.
I really feel pain for the family and want to see if I can raise the profile of Shauns disappearance, which has an active search group.

The sister of missing person Shaun Brown has issued another heartbreaking plea as it has now been eight weeks since he was last seen.

Shaun Brown, 33, has been reported missing from his home address in Kingsteignton and was last on Thursday March, 18.

He is described as a white male, 6ft 3in tall, with short dark hair and a beard.

Shaun's sister, Laura Vickery, 35, is urging anyone with information to contact the police.

Speaking to Devon Live today (May 12) Laura said: ''It has been eight weeks since Shaun was last seen.

''There has been no confirmed sightings at all.

''The police are still actively searching for him.

''Shaun, you are not in any trouble we just want to know you are alive and well.

''You are greatly missed and you are so loved.

''We are all trying to piece together this puzzle but there is just nothing.

''We just need to know he has not come to any harm and is not in any danger.''

Massive search for missing 32-year-old Devon man
I know the area well, I grew up in the village.
It seems possible that Shaun's clothing and belongings were left on purpose for others to discover.
Perhaps he intended on leaving these item's behind as a decoy??
Perhaps he changed into a different set of clothing leaving behind the clothes he was wearing when sited on route to this final location??
Not confirmed, but apparently his brother, who also mysteriously vanished went to school in salcombe? There has been a siting of Shaun in Dartmouth which is also in the South hams area. Could there be a connection here with his brother who also disappeared many years ago?

Is it purely coincidental that a father can lose two sons under very similar circumstances?? Or could the father have something to do with the reason's behind their disappearance? Was there abuse involved at an earlier stage in their lives?
If there's no body ,then it's possible he could have staged his disappearance to escape his current existence?
What do we know about the father? Is it just bad luck that two sons vanish into thin air??

The update in this appeal is that the family think Shaun was intending to take his own life. The family of a long term missing recently found after 8 months( Lawrence Kemp) posted in the comments on the post that he was found in a tree off a footpath 1/4 of a mile from home. Sometimes u do wonder wether they have searched the local vicinity enough for Shaun.

Numerous agencies have been assisting police in the search for Shaun but there have been no sightings since he was last seen on 18 March, there has also been no activity on any social media/phone/bank accounts.

Shaun’s sister Laura Vickery said on social media: “Shaun’s belongings were found at Teigngrace on March 18th. Extensive searches have been carried out in and around the area of Teigngrace. The police have had search dogs, cadaver dogs, helicopter, divers, drones, the coastguard as well as foot searches and nothing has been found. We believe that Shaun was intending to end his life. We have searched high and low for him but we still have found nothing.

“Please if you own any land, woodland, buildings, just any place that someone could be to please look for him.

“We literally have nothing to go on. The not knowing is unbearable!”

You can also contact the police with any information or sightings quote log number 200 of 18/03/21

Can you help locate Devon man missing for 3 months?
