Appeal to trace missing person Shaun Williamson
Police Scotland is appealing for information to help trace 26-year-old Shaun Williamson from East Kilbride.
Shaun left his home address at MacNamee Gardens around 1.30pm today.
Shaun is described as being of skinny build, 5'9” tall, with short to medium length, dark hair.
When last seen he was wearing a Metallica t-shirt, baggy blue jeans, blue Nike trainers, a dark green jacket and carrying a dark red rucksack.
Sergeant Kayleigh Coulthard said: “We are growing increasingly concerned for the welfare of Shaun. This is an extremely worrying time for his family and friends.
“We have issued an image of Shaun in the hope that someone may recognise him.
“Officers are carrying out extensive searches and reviewing CCTV in an effort to trace him but there have been no confirmed sightings of him.
“I would urge anyone who has any information on Shaun’s whereabouts or who has had contact with him to call Police Scotland on 101, quoting incident 2232 of 3 September.”
