Has DV ever documented when the time the stock take finnished and when the POW reopened that day?
I can’t recall this being confirmed exactly, however, the permanent landlord wanted to get away and it was started early.
You’d expect this to reach a conclusion by 12.00, which has been mentioned.
If that was the case theses no reason not to open unless the general Monday (after schools break up) trade is low and it rendered an evening opening more cost effective.
Two people know this for sure, CV & Mrs CV.

Has anyone else listened to the video Suzy Lamplugh Disappearance. The New Evidence 22nd Juy 2022

The poster says he was told by DV that SJL's car was found with the keys still in the ignition!
That's interesting! Adds more weight to the theory that the car was abandoned there in haste ...

Looking at its location on Upper Richmond road and the surrounding buildings many on the opposite side of the road are multi storey office and prob residential on oxford rd you have Putney School of Arts they hold a Summer school from July 19th all potential customers for a pub at lunchtime.
Just looking at things from all sides

Incidentally here is an example of a person who was dead for 2.5 years but was never a missing person:

Sadly there was something similiar not for from where I live some time ago. The tell-tale sign was the bluebottles and dead flies at the windows. That was what was noticed ....

Echoes of the fly investation at the Pow ....

Looking back at the Crimewatch Oct 1986 programme the Det only says that the keys to 37 Shorrolds are missing.

There’s so much that logically fits with the PoW and missing is a motive.
It really needs to be searched and a conclusion reached. Still find it hard to believe SJL could be in the void and has remained undiscovered for 36 years.
It’s criminal that this is a possibility and that police pride stops the place being searched.

Ideally, we need to find a student who attended the Putney School of Art and Design during summer of 1986 and ask them questions about the PoW

Interesting - what's the significance of the Putney School of Art and Design?

EDIT: just noticed Cluesleuth's post.

Look on the map. The school is next to the PoW and a few of the students may have gone there for drinks

There may be something in that. Anyone know what 'the word on the street' locally was in '86?

Or was everyone just caught up in the mass hysteria over 'Mr Kipper'?

I was in a training group then with 11 other guys then and one of the lads was nicknamed 'Kipper' because of a (very) loose resemblance to the photo fit that featured in the paper every morning, back then!

It’s a long shot expecting someone to remember if they went for a drink in the PoW on the 28th July 1986.
The week before I went to Wembley to see Queen on the Magic Tour, if it wasn’t for that i’d not be able to tell you were I was on a day that far back.
By the way Queen we’re absolutely fantastic, it hammered it down, rain bouncing 75 mm off the stage, but they just carried on as normal.

Yes it would be a very long shot, unless as you say someone linked something memorable to that day at that location.

Surely the police would know

They are great performers, aren't they? They were good at the Platinum Jubilee thingy, however Diana Ross was not

Any pub I‘ve ever worked in, stock take was always done during closing hours and never disrupted opening time. Obviously that may not be the case here. Also it’s usually done and signed off by the manager handing over as it is their stock after all, assuming it was done for the purpose of handing over to a relief manager, there’s no point doing after the relief has taken it over - high revenue items like spirit bottles can be so easily taken.

I have a question that I have actually never seen asked. Sorry if it comes across as stupid :)

Has it ever been suggested that more than one person was involved?

ETA

Just when you think of the logistics involved it came to mind.
I think JC set it up and SJL was abducted by a person or persons unknown.

MOO

@Terryb808 I was actually watching the Queen Wembley concert the other day, they've upscaled it 4K!

Me too. There are too many "but what about...." issues with all the theories.

As I see it there are really three.

1/ abduction from 37SR
2/ abduction from somewhere else
3/ incident at the PoW

To take these in order, I am not persuaded SJL ever went to 37SR because I am not persuaded by the sightings, nor am I persuaded she even had the keys. The sightings in fact are all retellings of the HR sighting, so this scenario depends on HR actually being right about something - and he has poor form here.

Abduction from somewhere else or via carjacking is a possibility, and would allow the BW sighting to be accurate. In this scenario, Mr Kipper sets up an appointment at 37SR as a red herring to get everyone looking in the wrong place, but intercepts her. The trouble with this is there's no evidence other than inference by elimination of everything else.

The PoW scenario is doubtful because the pub was presumably open and who kills a stranger on impulse, hides her on the premises and acts normal?

Very challenging.
