Possibly with JC in mind, by June 1987 the police consider SL ‘dropped’ Kipper at a ‘building to do business’ He ‘invites her in’ things then go wrong. Later he joins friends at a South London pub.
The timeline is off but their ideas are interesting (!)
Was the person @Clairybums flags ever a person of interest?

So the Police are suggesting that she was never at 37 Shorrolds Road according to that article by The People? What about the 3 sightings? This is only a year after the fact. Unless it's just a made up theory by the journalist. No Police on the record. Not even a Police source said.Possibly with JC in mind, by June 1987 the police consider SL ‘dropped’ Kipper at a ‘building to do business’ He ‘invites her in’ things then go wrong. 37 Shorrolds was considered a possible invention by SL right at the beginning of the investigation by the police (AS).So the Police are suggesting that she was never at 37 Shorrolds Road according to that article by The People? Surely not.
For his ‘regular drink’ at lunchtime in a ‘South London’ pub suggests some investigation along these lines (?)So the Police are suggesting that she was never at 37 Shorrolds Road according to that article by The People? IIRC Barley thought in 1986 that she never went to Shorrolds.37 Shorrolds was considered a possible invention by SL right at the beginning of the investigation by the police (AS).
Yes, some of the DV surmises weren’t new. This ‘errand’ has also been problematic, I think, for some on investigation re: timescales. The police appear to think the ‘secret’ diary/contact book was ‘salacious’ (DV) at least in part. Given AN in it & investigated etc there might be supporting evidence here too.IIRC Barley thought in 1986 that she never went to Shorrolds.
