I'm lost for words. Why on earth would they let a murderer who used a hammer...have access to a hammer in prison?? Why not dish out some guns and knives to all the inmates for good measure?

They run workshops in prison. He probably just took an opportunity in carpentry class. Let's Hope or not hope that he has a "multiple particularly bad, particularly injurious, particularly traumatic and life changing incidents with the circular saw" .

Personally I think they should fill that kind of prison with very deadly melee weapons but that's just me. Like have axes and knives at every corner, oooh and maybe long sharp things sticking out the walls with 100 amp currents running through them.

I think that's him. Can't find the age to verify but he was sentenced to life for a nightmare rape and had quite a few priors of a similar nature.
