LATEST: Sun reporter on the scene says police detonated a series of controlled explosions

I know the sun isn't a well liked source only posting because the controlled explosions happened outside their London offices.

I have seen The Sun reporters today who have been reporting steady updates and I found them very professional.

(This is reminiscent of the Paris attacks, imo.)

Same photo that Greg posted earlier from a laptop image of BBC news coverage.

Does anyone believe the investigation will uncover these terrorists were already on the radar?

It just seems that is usually the case when it comes to terrorist attacks. It has happened here in the US before and of course in the UK.

I am absolutely furious seeing the ISIS posts on social media encouraging future terrorists to copy the attack with a helpful graphic on how to do so.

Report their accounts to the police link for social media that I posted earlier. If their accounts can be traced then police should speak with them.

Photographer being interviewed live on BBC. He took the photo that was posted earlier of two of the assailants on the ground and one with the canisters around his waist.

Gabriele Sciotto is the photographer's name. He is a documentary filmmaker who was watching football in London.

"Saturday's incidents also come more than two months after a man drove an SUV into a crowd on the sidewalk along Westminster Bridge in London, killing at least four people.

After ramming the car into a barrier outside the Houses of Parliament, the driver got out and stabbed a police officer to death. The attacker was gunned down by a police officer.

The assailant, Khalid Masood, 52, of West Midlands, reportedly had a criminal record and may have had connections to violent extremism, British Prime Minister Theresa May said."

Dear OceanBlueEyes,

I believe that is a strong possibility.

Each time that it is reported as such, I am surprised. I'm surprised because I can't fathom it as a possibility.

It would be terrifying if one of these evil-doers is on a terrorist list and has recently returned from Libya or Syria.

"A statement from the US state department has condemned the attack:

The United States condemns the cowardly attacks targeting innocent civilians in London this evening. We understand UK police are currently treating these as terrorist incidents. The United States stands ready to provide any assistance authorities in the United Kingdom may request.

Our hearts are with the families and loved ones of the victims. We wish a full and quick recovery to those injured in the attacks. All Americans stand in solidarity with the people of the United Kingdom."

"President Donald Trump said on Twitter: "Whatever the United States can do to help out in London and the U. K., we will be there.""
