Do you think perhaps the Fairground comment might have been intentionally used? Does anyone know if any questionable behaviour is known to go on or around this fairground? Could SH have been deflecting attention towards it? I imagine he would be well aware of the places in the area where questionable behaviour takes place.

i doubt it as he had to confirm with DS where it actually was.

one other thing is why did he assume that she may have gone to that particular Funfair when he didn't even know where it was which is also odd as he's been living in Croydon for years.

As i've stated before, Orpington and Ashburton are in completely opposite directions and dont even sound the same.

To me it sounds like a story him and CS made up and the Orpington comment was a mistake and only mentioned because it may have been the destination in another story they also made up but didn't use.

If the funfair staff are correct and they never asked about Tia and were never there, then what happened during that time between 7.15 and the roughly 21.40 that SH and CS were supposed to be searching for her.

probably nothing, is there any proof they had even left the house and gone anywhere or did they just stay at home and make sure they had their stories straight.

Thanks for the interview links kaos. When he talks about visiting the funfair, he doesn't say it's because he knows Tia loves funfairs and that's why they're doing it. It seems a totally random thing to come up with. If my daughter went missing, I wouldn't go and look for her at a funfair unless I knew she'd been planning to sneak off to one.

And three times he says that someone else saw Tia leave the house. "People are pointing the finger at me because they think I was the last person to see her, but I wasn't". Definitely some colluding going on, but between how many people, I just can't tell at the moment.

I wonder if he really DID go to the fun fair... But for a drug pick-up instead..

He might have met with a fair worker around the perimeter?

Just a thought.

but in the video he wasn't sure where the funfair was.

and you also have to remember where he was living , there are A LOT of drug dealers on that estate already.

Maybe CS just went to bed when she came home. SH knowing what he knew could have just let her sleep while he fixed his story. CS gets up around 9.00pm and it's only then he tells her that Tia hasn't came home. He says to CS that he's been to the funfair and just to tell NS they both looked for her as NS would be furious if she knew CS had left SH on his own with Tia.

One other thing about what he said in that video is that they left the funfair to go to NS's house but then saw a 130 bus, this is highly unlikely as they wouldnt have taken the route where the bus would have been.

they would have stayed on the road where the funfair is as it leads all the way into west Croydon and on towards Mitcham.

even if they has stayed on that road and driven all the way to Mitcham , at no point would they have seen a 130 bus.

Remember please that CS has lived in Croydon for years and would have known which way was quickest.

What am I missing, when I go to http://www.tfl.gov.uk/tfl/gettingaround/maps/buses/?s=17340 and highlight route 130 on the left, it shows it going along Lower Addiscombe Rd, right by Ashburton Park.

in light of me finding out that they have changed the bus route, why would she catch that bus into croydon seeing as it doesnt go all the way into the town and actually bypasses it.

i'll have to ask my son when i speak to him and find out.

no idea why a bus route that has been the same for over 20 years would change but there ya go lol

i was just recalling the bus route from memory.

Any chance it was altered because of the Olympics?

its possible but looking on google streeetview it shows the 130 listed on bus stops along that route.

so if SH knew to mention seeing a 130 in the area then he would have known exactly where that funfair was and not mention Orpington.

still bugs me that DS prompted him so quickly when he got that bit wrong, makes you wonder exactly who knew about all of this.

i actually feel a bit stupid now for not checking the bus route but i did honestly think it still went along the same route as when i lived in Croydon, sorry about that.

In 2007, it was revealed that there were plans for an extension of the route from Norwood Junction to Thornton Heath Clocktower via Selhurst Road and Park Road. But as of May 2010, there had not been any route changes.

It used to be assigned to Arriva London from West Croydon to New Addington.

Bingo! He's a creative liar. I was one too - when I was a kid. My kids were too. Must run in families!

he's not a great one though.

Childhood is the time when a child builds character through breaking the rules and adults training the child to be truthful and honest. Guess it doesn't happen often enough. SH seems to have run foul of his family and the law most of his life. I'd love to see his rap sheet. Anyone have a copy? When did he 1st break the law?

I also don't think much of his lawyer. He said something to the effect that there was no evidence that TS was smothered. Hmmm...where is that leading?

if anybody posts his criminal record on here then they have already broken the law as they can only be obtained by applying for a CRB check or accessing a Police computer.

the CRB check part would now be almost impossible, the Police computer route would lose somebody their job and they would be charged with wilful misconduct in a public office.
