Does the UK not allow murder charges without a body? It happens in the US and sometimes the body is never found, but the case and trial, and convictions carry on.

Anyone know what details of the inquest/PM have to be released into the public domain.

Will we immediately be told everything?

Could we be told nothing?

Is it just the cause of death that will be reported? Or other potential findings too?

Charged? She was arrested and released on bail. Didn't know she'd been charged!

Sorry, I used the wrong word.

unsure, I guess a confession wouldn't need a body or witnesses seeing the murder, but it must be hard to convict someone of murder without a body or a confession or substantial witness statements.

It does happen. The case of schoolgirl Danielle Jones was one example. He denied guilt but still was convicted. Since she was 15, and the family already knew there was something going on between her and the uncle, without any huge problems, I wasn't as convinced as the jury seemed to be that the girl was actually dead.

I would think very little will be released to the public. Possibly only cause of death.

india ive got a question about the secret millionaire clip.

when the guy is talking to the young guy with the skinhead, there are shops behind them.are they the shops where the co-op where tia was caught on cctv?

i caught a pharmacy and an rs mccolls but couldnt see much more

oh,and do you know recognize the part of the estate where he is staying? is it near SH/CB's house?

(keep editing to add more questions sorry!)

they are not the shops she was seen at, those shops are about a mile away

i'm not exactly sure where he was staying but from what i could work out it wasnt far from The Lindens

how far would you say the fun fair was from the house?

if they walked instead of using the car it may be easier to trace them via cctv if they actually did go to and look for her.

it would have been a very long walk, nobody would walk that for any reason, its too far.

I live in WW, you not far. I'd rather meet in a pub than risk the ears of the world hearing the stuff that I've heard is being banded around.

erm, i don't meet strange blokes in pubs lol

but i can give you my ex wifes number, she has a habit of doing things like that lmao

I imagine we will only hear cause of death.

In the Joanna Yeates case we were told about the fact she had been strangled, but knew nothing else of the 45+ injuries on her body until the trial.

There have been a few hundred cases tried in the US, successfully. Very few involving children, however, for some reason. I guess because there is no way to show that all activity on phones, bank accounts, etc. ceased, no social security card usage...and people do hide/remove/steal children for various reasons, more so than adults. We have a lot of cases in the US where the children have been missing for years and nothing is done, legally. The law doesn't seem to be able to proceed in any of them. Yet it is almost certain that many of them are deceased, IMO.

lets hope they find a cause as it may mean the difference between SH being locked up for the rest of his days or walking free from a court room.

It's OT but I'm fuming as I watch the Secret Millionaire UK series. Such a disgusting waste of lives and potential, so much misery and hopelessness

Most of it deliberately imposed, imo

My urge to RAGE is massive at the moment

but it gives you a better idea about the estate that this murder has happened on and the kind of people TS was surrounded by.

and believe me, 12 months felt like 12 years when i lived there.

SH must be drying out in prison. Would they provide him methadone for drug withdrawals?

Makes you wonder why he went back to the drugs in particular, having been forced off them during his last stays behind bars

What makes you say he did?
