I'll be interested to hear about social services, children's services and other official contact with this family....Churchill from the CroydonAdvertiser (or whatever the local paper is) hinted that more was likely to come out...he's most likely heard India's rumours and more -- this story is hot, so everything will be followed up and anything with any truth to support it will come out.

I don't think anything needed to be "exposed"!! Its all out there already. Both SH and another of NS's ex-boyfriends have been convicted for drugs offences, as well as violence. I imagine its not unlikely that more of the family have got a history of law breaking - which would be easy to search if anyone wanted to.

I'd be interested in hearing more from NS's dad - as he appears to have cut himself off from NS and CS for reasons relating to SH. I bet he'll be helping the police out with lots of background info.

The biological parents were only kids when Tia was born. We don't know the ins and outs of it but it wouldn't have been easy for either of them

Will be just additional pressure on NS and her partner, fearing for their remaining two children. Not sure how much more NS can take ...

Given the whole family background it could be he also is known to the police.

There will be various family members and friends who will be hoping to sell their exclusive story to the tabloids.

By the way, it is against the rules here at WS to talk about sending or receiving PM's...you are just supposed to do it, if you want to, not talk about it. Same as with dropping hints/rumors that you can't explain, that is called "baiting" and also not allowed. I am not a moderator here, but this comes up all the time...for what it is worth.

Thanks for the timely reminder, Cluciano :)

id like to add a couple of little things if i may,all my own opinion of course..

I highly doubt SH would get help from travellers in disposing of Tia unless he himself is a traveller,i think even then hed have to convince them it was an accident.
Travellers are very family orientated, theyd either beat him up then hand him to police or hed disappear,Tia was just a child.i know it would be a different story if it was a non traveller adult that needed disposing of,but again youd have to be either be part of the community or very close to it....

I cant remember the other thing but ill be back..

I would think any information would only be revealed after the trial.

I agree, travellers would not help any one cover up the death of a child.

It has nothing to do with them anyway, I mentioned them as a point of reference when replying to a post about funfairs locally.

the area where the funfair is is a lot different to where the murder took place

but surely, they left the house and having to leave the estate they would pass some sort of cctv to get to the area where the fun fair was?

im just watching that secret millionaire episode, you deserve a medal for living there!

The biological parents were only kids when Tia was born. We don't know the ins and outs of it but it wouldn't have been easy for either of them

I think NS was about 18 when she had Tia, and she only had that one child to look after for years, as her sons were born about 8 or 9 years later.

In my opinion, one child isn't that hard to care for*, and 18 is legally an adult. She obviously had family around too - a family that seems to take on an awful lot of her childcare too.

One of my neighbours brought up her brother and sister from when she was 17 after their parents died, and she never felt the need to date drug dealers and machete carrying idiots.... and both kids were well-behaved and did well at school.

* Just to quantify this opinion - I have five kids!

I have brought them up pretty much on my own, whilst also working, whilst my partner is based away from home in the forces. And I have no family in this country to help me out. Am not singing my own praises, just thinking that having one child doesn't justify the lifestyle she brought up her child in. Just my opinion obviously.

I don't think that Tia left her phone at home, perhaps the battery ws dead and she borrowed her Moms, but I still think that she took hers with her, and this is why CS and SH went to Mitcham to tell them about TS , so that they could plant her phone back there. Why? I didn't get that far yet......:moo:

This whole family is guilty to a degree, as this 12 yr old girl should have been protected by all of them. IMO, it is the fathers duty to ensure that his daughter is being protected as she should. If I was a man, I would fight tooth and nail for custody of my kids before I would allow them to sleep under the roof of another mans house, with or without their mother. Accidents can happen, and child molesters do not always have a telling look about them. I know it sounds extreme, but the UK has a laid back attitude about these things, and I find it so strange.
This family is no accident, and they are hiding so much, I am almost afraid to hear the truth, as I am sure some dark sordid secrets are going to emerge, I just know it. My heart aches for these children. The British Government has to stop providing for them, if only to ensure that they better themselves and strive to pull themselves out of this underclass.

Crazy Mama im not having a pop at you or your post because others have said similar in posts but as a MAN who did fight tooth and nail to make sure his kids were safe(and failed)its not always that easy,we dont get a say, when a woman moves on and finds another partner theres very little us men can do about it.
Firstly i had to go to court just to prove my parental rights, then after that you end up dealing with social workers who just havent got a clue,my ex married a traveller,he had lots n lots of convictions, mad temper, bro in jail for rape etc yet my kids stayed with him, social work view was they couldnt do anything until something happened(which it did several times).
I found out that one of our local(never proven)beasts at the time was babysitting my kids,i immediately phoned police and social work and it was only when they realised i would deal with it myself did they go to the address..
10 years i fought for my kids, thats 10 years of sh**e they went through, climbing over people from the party the night before to go to school etc but i didnt give up(even through my own health problems) and eventually got them..
lol sorry i really just wanted to say were not all the same.

I think that is why they did not want to use C.S's car to take Tia's body from the house, any movement would be traced.

I wonder if SH had planned to steal a car or had some other plan which went wrong.
I would not think he had planned for Tia to remain in the loft for as long as she did.

Sorry to hear your story. Yes it is a problem, I would hate to be a man for that reason.

Well done, ScotsPaddy. Damn right we're not all the same

It's demands repeating: We're not all the same. We didn't inherit the same dna. We didn't respond identically to circumstance. We weren't all blessed with the same opportunities, with the same intelligence and instincts

Very probably there are few people in this forum or on the street outside who haven't know heartbreak and adversity. Some rise to the occasion. Some try and struggle but due to circumstance fail in their endeavors although maybe down the road they'll succeed

Today's winners are often tomorrow's losers and vice versa just as some are destined to be losers for life. It's the latter for whom we need have compassion and treat them best we can without judgements and smugness

Anyway, well done, ScotsPaddy. Sounds as if you have a bit in common with India so bravo to you both :)

I wonder if Tia made any phone calls or sent texts from the time she left home on Thursday until she was last alive.

In the Jo Yeates case ,when she was missing, her last phone communications were given .

I wonder if her mother gave Tia permission to take her phone or if the family had several paye as you go phones that were unregistered so no trace would be found.
