He had a two day head start, made a mostly clean getaway, and then CONFESSED? What in the world was his end-game here?
There will likely be a big history of mental health issues - almost 100%

He's 22, so he's had 4 years in Utah to legally buy rifles. So who knows, at this point.
It helps to buy things if you have a job. That's one detail I haven't seen anywhere. Was he living at home or with the roommate with the discord chat about the rifle? Did he have an income at all? Has anyone seen anything on that aspect?

I just will never understand how people can get so invested in topics that they will kill over it. Why?

I literally thought the same thing. And Richard Allen!?!?! Come on now. I absolutely despise this new trend of idolizing murderers.
Oh it's been going on forever. As we know Bundy was swooned over by some. Ramirez and his smelly mouth was somewhat of a heartthrob to some... Wether it's hybristophilia or plain damaged, women (and some men) have been lusting after murderers since ever. The difference now is (againnnn) the internet. The internet and the likes of YouTube and netflix. Pumping out 'making a murderer' type stuff. Giving people platforms to spout off their uneducated opinions as facts, giving contrarians a platform to spew out ohhh Richard Allen is innocent... Lucy Letby is an acute angle on earth who was scapegoatedddd... Giving the saviour complex damaged souls a platform to screech how Kohberger is soooo hot he's gotta be innocent to their little echo chambers of like minded idiots.

The true crime community is a smelly dangerous place nowadays. Thank goodness for Websleuths and you lot!

I am not convinced of that yet. I think there may be some prior evidence of anxiety related disorders. I am envisioning an introvert who failed to launch upon reaching adulthood.

I’ve read on this thread TR described as a kid. Respectfully I disagree. He is a 22 year old man. A young adult, but an adult nonetheless. When I was 22, I had already been an RN for a year (went to a two year University nursing program) and was working full time on a Medical/Surgical/Oncology Unit. I administered chemo, blood and blood products and held the hands of dying people with compassion, just to name a scant few nursing measures provided.

TR is not “a kid.”

Mauser rifles, including those chambered in .30-06, are currently manufactured in Isny im Allgäu, Germany by Mauser Jagdwaffen GmbH, the civilian weapons subsidiary of the Mauser company. Mauser bolt-action systems were originally developed in Germany in the late 1800s, and although their military production ceased in 1945, the brand continues to produce hunting rifles based on the classic Mauser 98 design for civilian use.
The Mauser 98 is one of the most common rifles (military and otherwise) since the advent of smokeless powder. Most modern bolt actions are either copies or heavily influenced by that action.

Is the Daily Mail really a reliable source for ANYTHING?
Sometimes! lol It's hit and miss. My first go-to news sites are AP, UPI, and Reuters. After that, I'll hit the NYT and other news sites. I get the basic facts first to form my own opinion, and then I read other people's opinions on the topic.

Don’t see it, otherwise he will have likely killed more like the mentally ill school shooters do

I think he is more sociopath/narcissist than mentally ill

I'd imagine it depends on a person's interests? I have Christian friends around the world that knew Charlie. I don't know if he was "well known" but he was known, and is deeply missed.
He spoke at the Republican National Convention this past year and at other high level national political events. He had taken his tour to about 600 colleges and universities across the country, and had Turning Point USA chapters on most campuses across the country. He had millions of followers on Instagram and was a key player in the Republican party. His presence was huge among millions of Americans.

ETA Ideally we should know as much of the background of the victim as we do of the killer. IMO

According to many studies, most adolescent brains don't fully mature until age 25. Probably why some people refer to him as a kid.

I was thinking the same thing. This shows to me he was certainly not a trans supporter like some are claiming.
Huh? What shows "he was certainly not a trans supporter", and who has been "claiming" that?

It appears to me this guy is a chronically online memelord and gamer. He just etched whatever catchphrases caught his eye.

That's my take as well. Left to confuse the masses which is working.

"The alleged killer confessed to his father, who is a a 27-year veteran of the Washington County Sheriff's Department ... "

"Robinson was a student at Utah Valley University, insiders confirmed to Daily Mail."

The governor said this morning he was not a student at UVU

I had to look it up b/c I had no clue what any of it means.
How on earth are the messages being called "far left"?! Honestly what? These are (mainly) generic £h/tposting sayings that are used by kids on the internet... Kids who when told left or right assume that you mean which nostril to pick!

I think it's another "failure to launch" situation too. This was his big achievement and now the rest of his life will be determined for him without him having to make effort or risk failing.

Rumors were trans supportive things were written on the casings but was untrue. Actually the insult if you are reading this you are gay was one of the things written.

BBM - you must have missed many MSM sources, including WSJ, parrot a completely unverified report claiming that an 'anonymous ATF agent' had sent a screenshot to Steven Crowder saying that the shooter had engraved 'trans ideology' on the bullet casings.
