he and Kouri met up approx. ten days to two weeks after ER's death and drove up in to the mountains. It was their first opportunity to really speak about Eric and his death.
Kouri asked Josh about if he had ever killed anyone when he served in military. It was a heavy conversation. Her follow up question was about how taking that life made her feel. She was very open in a way he wasn't used to. Josh believed then and may still now believe she was exhausted emotionally and was diverting the conversation away from herself.
He didn't really take it as out of the normal for her to ask that.
The couple remained a couple for a six to eight months or so after the murder. Things changed after Eric's death they weren't the same. They had a lot of disagreements and so things ended.
