Next witness went on a retreat with KR, where they wrote their live stories in 3rd person.

I like where this is going.

Begrudging witness....

Shockingly Lewis is objecting to this saying there is no foundation. prosecution tries to ascertain if witness is generally familiar with Kouris handwriting? witness hems and haws that it looks like KR's handwriting but she isn't comfortable saying it is for sure.

Defense objects saying witness says she isn't sure and she didn't witness Kouri complete it

No cross?!?

I'm guessing the State did not expect this witness to suddenly be uncooperative.

She’s known KR a looooong time. I’m assuming she thinks she innocent.

Ouch. State can't introduce the writing at this time.

I swear KR is intimidating witnesses. Certainly trying to.

KR's BFF since middles school is stunning. You can tell she doesn't want to be here and still is loyal to KR. Must still believe the lies.

Or... we see how KR treats the people nearest her... maybe she is afraid of KR.

Eric jokingly told BFF and other friends that Kouri had tried to poison him. We all teased Kouri about it. She laughed about it, we all laughed.

So, Kouri's friend had to take a face value that everything Kouri said was the truth.

At least she did tell her the amount that she took out of the home.

I know Eric is probably not "lily white".. . but in the end, he did not file for divorce and she (allegedly) killed him for the $$$$.

True friends tell each other the WHOLE truth...not just cherry picking what makes Eric look bad and Kouri look good. But then again, we usually only hear one side or the other when it comes to marital problems.

I cannot imagine putting myself thru this trial if I was Kouri. Even if she is acquitted for reasonable doubt, she is known nationally now and what was said at this trial will follow her everywhere she goes.

it takes a person who is more grown-up than average to be totally fair about something like that, and take responsibility for their behavior.

IMO, it is fair to say KR has shown us she is less grown-up and responsible than the average person.

state should wrap it up. I don’t think they’re going to get anything from KR’s BFF and it’s pretty obvious she’s biased (so I’m sure jurors think the same).

Does the defense team not meet outside of the court? Why is everything a lengthy group discussion.

admitting the letter, prosecution wanted some of it, defense offers to admit the whole thing. Must be something in it they think makes their client 🤷‍♀️ look good

I think this judge preferred to rule in real time on certain things.

Anyone feeling all sympathetic to Kouri because she might have had a challenging childhood and an unhappy marriage?

I'm not.
