I drove up past second dam on the left and got a couple pics. This is exactly the place I thought of when I first heard she was found in Logan Canyon. It looks as though a few areas of grass has been marred down with car tires.
This road is 348.Thank you for these! Where is 348 in relation to these photos?
Wow. I know the people quoted in that article. Wild. And this is the first I've seen of the diving equipment request, so thanks for posting. I guess it remains to be seen whether they actually used it or whether that aided in the discovery of KL's body.
So many articles cover the same ground yet leave out different details. IIRC I read he was burning over two mornigns at least.
In much of the U.S., a canyon might refer to a traditional crevice difficult to access, etc, but it might also refer to a large geological formation or a manmade route through a mountainous area, large enough for several roads, campgrounds, buildings, etc. to be contained within the "canyon" that bears the name of Logan Canyon, in this case. Hope that helps!Throughout these posts,is it correct ML's body was found at the side of an access road in Logan Canyon?
Being from a different country, the fact Canyon is in the name of the area where ML's body was found, perhaps does not indicate this is a Canyon site ie large cavity and rocks etc.![]()
Wow, it seems a little odd that the woman interviewed said she was offended that her canyon was "desecrated like that."

I understand what she is saying but you would think her remark would be about how offensive it is that Mckenzie's body was desecrated like that. Imo
Statistically, they say in cases where women are abducted and murdered they are usually killed within two hours. There’s no reason to make this any worse than it has to be, by focusing on the worst possible things that could have happened to her.
Regardless of what happened, this was bad.
We don’t know that he sadistically tortured her, or that she suffered for an extended period of time.
We could spend days speculating on this stuff, and it doesn’t get us anywhere.
Most killers aren’t serial killers, and most serial killers aren’t Jeffrey Dahmer.
We remember guys like that, because what they did was so unusual on the first place.
That sort of thing doesn’t happen with any regularity.
I think he raped her. He killed her. And then he burned her.
He kept no trophies, and his concern was self preservation.
The reporting was all over the place, lol.I heard the same, the 17th and 18th mornings. I also remember hearing the Fox report and thinking they were wrong at the time because it did not match, but it could be that he also had fires on those dates as well, whether it related to her or her things, hard to say, when the length was only 30 minutes for those fires. Maybe further cleanup...
Jmo.
Wow! Thank you so much for doing this.I drove up past second dam on the left and got a couple pics. This is exactly the place I thought of when I first heard she was found in Logan Canyon. It looks as though a few areas of grass has been matted down with car tires.
