This is obviously all very concerning but if I did want to disappear for a little while and had a wealthy man in my life who took good care of me, and was young without many other responsibilities, this would probably be the way to do it.

The 'meet in the park 2:40AM' .... ? What is that?
KL is an educated woman, she currently works in medical field as a phlebotomist; she is only a few months away from a Nursing degree.
Why on earth does she agree to Hatch Park?
Every major city has an all night bookstore. 24 hour Starbucks. Seven Eleven. So many public places that would make more sense.

Maybe it was a familiar place for her? I know a lot of women who participate in SB/SD relationships choose the meeting location to have some control of the situation.

Per PC, they don’t have evidence of ML entering the vehicle of the person she met at the park

So, did she check luggage? It seems like a lot of time from landing to getting the Lyft? MOO

1:35 a.m. ML's flight landed in SLC
2:01 a.m. ML texted her mother
2:42 a.m. Lyft taken from airport
2:59 a.m. Lyft arrived at Hatch Park

Interesting, it doesn't seem LE knows as much as I would have presumed. As far as the location, it's not really such a strange location to meet someone. It's right off the freeway, easy access, quiet, close to a police station, she probably felt safe there and obviously was meeting someone she trusted and was happy to see. I'm guessing it was simply a pickup location, and they went somewhere after meeting right off the highway.

Interesting that they reviewed the airport surveillance tape but aren't releasing any information about what she was last seen wearing. (Not that it would be super useful, it is quite easy to change clothes). But interesting nonetheless.

IMO its dangerous when a older creepy 🤬🤬🤬 man aka sugar daddies, get possessive. Young women dont know that sending pics and doing things like this are easy to be taken advantage of. Sugar Daddies become stalkers quite often, especially when its fun and games for the woman but its very very serious for the suggar daddy.

I haven't seen stats to that effect. Have you?

These aren't stupid women who don't know what they're doing. And each are getting an advantage from the other.

To me it's a two way street.

I cant think of a press conference off the top of my head where they vocalized their thoughts that this could be a missing by choice situation and spoke directly to the MP. Anyone else?

Ok so nothing new really imo.

One point I wonder about is why can’t they say what they learned from reviewing the tape at the airport?

Why still no clothing description?

I wonder if she dressed up/changed clothes at the airport?

How about 20 minutes to freshen up get luggage and the driver took time to get to the airport? we don't know yet when she used the Lyft app to summon the ride, right?

Can law enforcement tell if a phone has been shut off vs. battery died?

  • #418
Unlikely, but since we don't know if she even got in the car, they could have had a tryst at the park and her partner could have left her there.

Oh, wow, I found this thread earlier this afternoon and read the whole thing (previous thread as well).

I feel terrible for her friends who kept trying to find ways that they could help. Terrible situation for the family too.

Thanks to everyone here, at some points, I felt like you were some steps ahead compared to the police.

I know the police got wind of this case late in the game, there was the weekend and the laws cannot be broken, but I did get the feeling that they could've moved a bit faster.

Hoping this doesn't end badly.

People available to meet at 2:50am:

If something (or someone) is important, you make the time.

I wouldn't narrow down the list based on usual effortless availability times. People deviate.
