OT here- My fiance was talking to a very pretty educated coworker who told him she is 30 wants a man and wants to be settled down but can't find anyone and she was upset after a man she dated ghosted on her she said they all do- well my fiance schooled her - he told her what? you are a woman- you have the power you can have whatever man YOU want and if some man does not return texts forget him and move on!!! Worry about you what you like what you want focus on you build your confidence and men will swarm- never settle and never forget you hold all the cards and have all the power!!! I was saddened to learn that women feel this way about themselves- he said many at his job do.

Actually this is a current study I am doing! I don’t have solid answers for that, only preliminary results with a small (approximately 1,000) sample. It appears to be 48% no sex, 34% some sex (ranging from intimate touching to intercourse), and 17% fetish related (with 1% missing data). This is unpeer reviewed and unpublished work though.

Do you have any data relating to expectations? I’m wondering how common it is for sugar daddies to expect more, let’s say physicality, than they receive? I’d assume that most would simply break off the relationship, but that some might feel cheated/angry.

I don’t mean to sound morbid, as I am hoping and praying for ML’s safe return, but at what point are search teams and dogs called in? I realize there is no sign of foul play, as in a trail of evidence, but ML has been missing for almost 9 days now. I couldn’t help but notice when mapping the park several national forests and large bodies of water, all within / under a one hour drive. The red square on the attached image represents the park. Note national forests on 3 sides as well as rivers and lakes.
They’ll bring them in once this becomes a criminal investigation, and they have an idea where to look.

Right now, law enforcement still hasn’t found evidence of foul play, and the length of time she is missing isn’t proof that something nefarious occurred.

Once they begin poring through the information obtained from the warrants they have executed, they’ll have a much clearer picture.

Hopefully.

Things are starting to move, even though we can’t see it yet.

I think that the “sugar lifestyle” is a sugar coating for something else. Take out the middle man and get all the $$.

MOO.. Because ya know rich men love spending loads of money purely on “companionship”. Lavish gifts, paid tuition, cars, jewelry and vacations. Where were these generous and kind hearted friendship/companionship seeking men when I was in college? Heck, a few friendship only dinners would have gotten my tuition paid? Who’d have thought??

Welp actually I didn’t know the park was the total direction from her place, so that just my theory out the water.

A few years ago I read an article about Japanese school girls being involved in this type of relationship. Just googled now and see there's a lot of info. Appears to be a trend...Papakatsu. It's been going on for quite a long time.
I wonder if it originated in Japan.

I think it's as old as the hills...

Noted but thus far nothing that has been said by LE, family or friends to support the idea that ML had a burner phone or a secondary phone. In fact, when asked, multiple friends told multiple reporters on multiple occasions they knew nothing about / had never seen or known ML to have or use a second phone. So, yes, anything is possible but unless cited it’s a factless claim being perpetuated with no substantiation. Just because a 23 year old single woman MAY have enjoyed alternative relationships doesn’t mean she needed to hide them on a top secret burner phone. It’s sex not hiding dead bodies
Well, what law enforcement did say they wanted to know if anyone has information about her having a second phone in the Press Conference. They aren't saying they know she has one. But I have rarely seen law enforcement specifically ask for tips about whether a missing person had a second phone. They must believe there is a more than reasonable likelihood of a second phone or they wouldn't mention that specifically. I would not consider it unreasonable to theorize the existence of a second phone considering that law enforcement thought it sufficient a possibility to specifically mention it.

Police want more tips about MacKenzie Lueck's social media and phone activity

After they released surveillance photos of MacKenzie Lueck, taken less than an hour after she vanished on June 17, 2019, Salt Lake Police said they need more tips.

Specifically, about the missing college student's social media accounts and a second phone - if she has one.

So is this thread still about Kenzie or is it now just a sugar daddy lifestyle discussion thread?

I just ran the search again and the first website that comes up has it. I'm on a computer, though so maybe that is the difference

Yeah, I can only see the Cached option on desktop. It's not visible on Android mobile search. Maybe if I were to go into chrome on my phone and try to do a desktop browser search? But I saw all the cached stuff on my computer.

I thought that emotion is one of the reasons that this was different than being an escort. I'm really confused.

BBM Call and text just to have a chat? Not sexually motivated? It blows my mind that a grown man would pay just to chat with a young woman about her day, or to have her ask him about his. But then again...if it is about power...
honestly i think with sugaring becoming a more mainstream thing, these types are few and far between... and i do believe that a different crowd is fluctuating the sites used for sugar dating as the other venues they used are now shutdown...

You make a solid point here.

A weaker counterpoint, is the possibility that people have been calling in tips about the possibility of a second phone, and they are taking that idea seriously.

I say this, because people have been speculating about a possible “burner phone,” since well before law enforcement ever mentioned it.

Is it common for a SB to have more than one SD?
I can’t seem to find it on my phone, not for lack of trying...

Very good point.

Still believe that whatever technology or relationship classification took her to that park at 3am - it is highly likely a sexual component was involved and that element probably played a significant part in whatever has happened.

They would need to have some kind of indication as to where to search, such as a tip, evidence or a substantial lead. Imo

Thank you for this post. Seems there is a sub-group of posters here who know more than others (e.g. ML's "secret" user name). Fine, but either share the info with everyone here if allowed, take it to a private conversation, or do not discuss it at all. I honestly find it rude to be discussing a secret SM account and associated hashtags, comments, images, etc. found there, among the posters here who have no clue what you are seeing, reading, and discussing.
JMO

I think it’s not allowed here. Do you have FB? If so, you can request to join the pictured account. Conversations aren’t restricted but everyone is very respectful. Not my group; I just follow.

In regards to people being confused as to why sugar daddies would pay young women without the expectation of sex, I think that's the point. I don't understand it either, and I doubt the girls that do it do either... If you're a rich man, lonely or unhappy in your public relationship, and you can get any kind of satisfaction (not just sext, can just be someone to text, or make happy by buying them things) through using your money, I can see why that's a common option for these men. It's not always about sex, but it can just be about someone relying on you/expecting money from you.

Basically, “dating casually”, as her friends had mentioned. You, in a way, test the waters until you decide which person is more compatible. Same thing people do on Tinder, lots of matches, some dates, a relationship here and there.

Essentially. It’s very similar to any traditional means of dating. Which is why it is emotionally charged when sex work, sadness, or lack of autonomy is suggested. That’s simply not the driving force. It’s very close to what is considered mainstream.
