BBM:

AF is reportedly one of ML's best friends.

The fact that AF says she doesn't have any idea why ML would take a ride to NSL is an indication that ML has some things going on in her life that she doesn't want those around her to know about.

Some people are really good at compartmentalization.

I'm thinking ML may be one such person.

JMO.
I totally agree from what I have found online. The eyelash extensions are pretty distinctive and not something usually a college student gets (well at least here). It also makes a person fairly recognizable in photos. I can't be 100% sure but I'm at like 80-90% sure that there is a lot of info not being disclosed at the moment. Maybe she just has a double in the North Salt Lake area. I have one here, so it is possible. Like I said I could be wrong but I'm fairly sure of where she was going. Now from there I'm unsure but I've seen a few things that I just can't verify via internet and looking over photos.

I agree with you that maybe she is good at that, hence the lack of alarm...we just aren't being told enough actual facts about her life. I do hope she is ok. MOO

My son graduated from high school with ML, and my younger son is good friends with her brother. I had just read in our local paper last week about her grandmother's passing. My younger son saw on Instagram that she was missing. Nice family, sweet girl, praying for them and hoping it's a voluntary side trip. I hadn't heard about a stroke.
I look forward to seeing some (hopefully positive) updates from you.

Having been an airline pilot for a number of years with a lot of "deadhead" flights in the cabin to get to where my flight was picked up, I know a fair bit about flight attendant's interaction with a passenger. Looking at what flights come into STL from LAX that time of night, it's likely she was on a smaller regional jet. This means less flight attendants on board which means they are super busy doing the snack/beverage service. Given it was likely the last flight of what can be a very long day (being on duty 14 hours at a stretch is common in the industry) unless a passenger was behaving very oddly or in a disruptive fashion, they likely would not remember a single passenger's demeanor or actions. Once the beverage service is over cabin crewmembers generally return to their jumpseat and don't walk through the cabin again unless a passenger call light goes on, or it's time for the arrival safety checks.
Thanks for that insight @GraceG.

There is one strip club right pretty much borderline between North Salt Lake and Salt Lake City. Their address lists SLC, but they are very close to the North Salt Lake boundary line like one to two exits away from the official NSL exit.

Thanks for the info! And that’s a great point as to the CCTV in areas. Surely LE is checking into that aspect. If her drop off location was a residential area, do you think they will be asking for residents to look at their security cams or such?
Yes! If only to corroborate the statement of whomever lives at that location. Did she go in? Did she come out? What direction did she take when she left?

Do we know if Kenzie has any identifying marks? Birthmarks, scars, tattoos?

Looks like bars close at 1am in Utah?
Keep looking, I’ve seen some that are open until 2 and 4am. And that’s if they stick to the time. Plus staff would be there a while cleaning up. I’d guess at least an hour after closing time?

No, due to very strict alcohol laws in Utah bars never stay open late. They’d lose their liquor license (which are hard to come by in the first place).

I believe you. I’m only going by whats listed on the websites for individual businesses. And employees would be there long after closing time.

I hope we can all agree, that no matter where Kenzie MAY have worked or hung out or been dropped off, she is still MISSING and needs to be located. Maybe SLC has a different culture but I don’t care how adults spend their time or money. No judgement from me. I just want her located and safe. The rest is her business. Imo

100% agree

Agreed. There tends to be a very holier than thou/judgmental culture that resonates in Utah sometimes. Regardless of her choices that some people may or may not agree with, she still needs to be found and this is still out of character behavior for her.

Was her flight on time? If it was delayed, maybe she planned to arrive at her destination earlier.

I have a problem with the club scenario. The timeline doesn't work for me. Would she really go to one with a piece of luggage? Doesn't compute - even it it's open for another couple hours... IMO

If she landed/touched down at 1:00 she'd still have to wait to get off the plane, get her luggage (did she check or carryon? wish we knew!), walk to ground transportation, summon the Lyft, then get to the "destination".

To me - her destination arrival time would be near 2:00am.

Whenever I travel back to my hometown and stay with my parents, I don’t need very much (as I still had clothes and toiletries there).

Not only is the timing odd, she also would have luggage. Where is her luggage?

jmo

True. She is missing as is her luggage, regardless of where she went or what the back story is.

That is a really good point and probably quite common for a university student.

Jmo.

ETA: She also allegedly was turning around and going back to CA in a few days so if she did take anything with on the first trip, she may have left much of it there.

My guess (with no proof) is that she would have carry-on luggage only. She was returning from a funeral, which I'm assuming was a short trip. Checking luggage costs more money and also takes time after landing to wait for it. My hunch is she had carry-on.

But I agree with you - a bit awkward to go to a club to work with your traveling bag, even if it's just a carry-on. Unless she was already scheduled and being a reliable person, which she seems to be, she showed up because of that?

It's tempting to go down this route, but it's really only one possibility at this point since we don't know her destination.
