I understand but where is she? If she is voluntarily missing, the luggage is with her. If she is involuntarily missing, something was done with it by the person who caused her to go involuntarily missing. I guess I miss the point in why anyone would necessarily think her luggage or purse should have been located when she has not been located?

Jmo.
It's a clue that her luggage is also missing. It likely means she wasn't attacked randomly outdoors, imo. Not 100% sure, of course, but this does lead me to think she entered a building.

I see what you are saying. I agree it is more likely she went inside somewhere and was not attacked on the sidewalk and her things were found outside due to an attack. I just do not find it unusual they have not located the luggage if she went inside somewhere. If someone did something to her, they are not going to give it up nor where she is and if she is voluntarily missing, she has it. That is how I was looking at it.

So LE says she was last seeing at her destination after arriving there by Lyft, Lyft have said she was dropped off and the driver "Immediately" went back to work.

Her is may issue. Whom was it that used the word "immediately"? Did it come from Lyft management, LE or the driver? If it was the driver then i would look at him more closely, given he was the last one to see her.

Using the word "immediately" is unnecessary. He could have said " i went back to work when i dropped her off. The word "immediately" is to suggest he didn't do anything else and wants us to know that. This is say hey, before you ask me i "immediately" went back to work i'm not involved. Again, why would he say that?

Who used the word "immediately" first?

Exactly. Say this was an abduction, that stuff would almost certainly be left behind.

Her stuff should be in someone’s house or apartment, likely the person she went to visit (if that was even the case).

Where her luggage is, is driving me crazy.

And it very well could be in someone’s home or car. Doesn’t mean they told LE that.

I thought I read that she was due back in LA 7/23, a full month away. She was due back earlier?

It’s possible the time she spent back home was hectic and She did not find the time to do a load of clothes. Perhaps she knew of an area around her destination that had a cheap laundromat or was intending to use one at one of the apartments around there before heading home. Maybe her place didn’t have one or it was pricey?

Quoting myself to continue my thought that she entered a building. I'm also certain she was completely sober when she left the Lyft car, which, to me, indicates she entered a building that was familiar to her, that she entered with a clear mind and with intention. That doesn't exclude being forced into a building, but my hunch is she went where she wanted to go...and then things went bad.

Edited to add: there's also the possibility she disappeared on her own and hasn't been harmed, of course.

Also, if her destination was a strip club, why wouldn't LE release that info? I understand they don't want to embarrass anyone, but it's not their job to keep secrets. It's their job to find missing persons. To me, it's more likely that the destination was a residence and they're not revealing that info because they don't want the destination person running scared.

Someone asked about tattoos earlier. One of her IG posts has a pic of her with a tattoo on her back and someone comments that they didn't realize she had a tat. She responded that it was henna, so I'm assuming no tattoos.
Right, it’s their job to find a missing person, not update the public on their investigation. If LE doesnt think it will help find her, they have no reason to say what her destination was. As it is, we only have the NSL location coming from a friend, and we don’t know where the friend heard that.

From the FB page: We will be holding a press conference today at 4 PM at the downtown Salt Lake City police department on behalf of Mackenzie’s concerned love ones. We have a statement for the media and will be taking questions.

That information also came from law enforcement itself, but they have declined to specifically state the address.

We know she went to NSL, but not where in NSL.

Great. I just wish it was law enforcement holding this press conference.

Good on her friends though, they’re clearly doing everything they can.

It would be out of the way and anything she saved at the laundry would probably be ate up by paying for another Lyft ride home from NSLC. It is quite out of the way to go there as it would be to go there just to hit a Subway sandwich shop, I am sure she could find one closer to home.

It was mentioned in the statement by Lyft.

And it makes complete sense that they would use the word “immediately.”

They are trying to shut down any aspersions being cast against the driver.

Lyft would be able to determine this both quickly, and accurately.

This isn’t a taxi service, every route is tracked by GPS.

If the driver continued making pickups, they continued making pickups.

This has nothing to do with what the driver has told them.

Nothing to see here.

In the recent case of mother and daughter missing in WI, it turned out it appeared to be voluntary. LE has not shared and probably never will where they were exactly or why but you can be guaranteed they know the answer to those questions. They were last seen at a storage shed/their business allegedly. Just because we have heard here she was last seen by the Lyft driver means nothing nor does it mean LE may not know something beyond that by now that has not been shared with our inquiring minds :)

Jmo though.
